    Seafarer Switch Panel Dimensions

I had them make a panel for my Wellcraft V-21 and they did a great job. Very helpful and easy to work with. I am still considering several alternatives. On the Wellcraft I did the starboard dash panel and had them make the switch panel.

    Seafarer Switch Panel Dimensions

I really like the looks of those panels. I called Grady a couple of days ago to see if those were available, but I didn't hear back from them. I'm not sure I could afford them if they were available. :(

Also my gauges were very dim, which is a common problem, so I have sent them to Gauge Saver to be refurbished.

    Seafarer Switch Panel Dimensions

I removed the panel already. I broke all the screw heads but one. I will deal with reattaching the panel when I go back to the boat. I brought the panel back home to use it as a pattern for the black starboard one. I am not sure how I will reattach the panel. I may try to use sheet metal screws...

    Seafarer Switch Panel Dimensions

Thanks seasick. I am thinking that I might change the switches out and change the look of the panel. I changed out the Garmin panel from this To This And I am going to change the Tach/Speedo panel to black starboard also.

    Seafarer Switch Panel Dimensions

I have a 2000 226 and I am thinking of replacing or refurbishing the switch panel. Does anyone know the dimensions of the panel or have access to their boat to measure it. I am not where the boat is and would like to start to plan how I will get started. Thanks.

    Adding Auxiliary Tank

Thanks. It occurred to me after I posted that of course it was a different year model. Sometimes I seem to be a little slow on the uptake.

I zoomed in and saw Patriot Marine. I like that design. Is you tank the same dimensions as the diagram above? Wondering how tall it is to accommodate the tabs which are used to secure it.

leeccoll , Where did you get your tank? I like the tabs welded on to secure the tank to the stringers.

KY, What did you use to make the wedges?

    Adding Auxiliary Tank

That is exactly what I was thinking. Since I don't have an aux tank to take out and the space is open and if the hoses are there in mine, it would be much less of a problem than otherwise. Are you going to shim on each side of the tank?

    Adding Auxiliary Tank

Now that you mention it, I think I see the shelf in the picture with the tank in place. Did you have to cut the sides much to get the tank to go in?

    Adding Auxiliary Tank

LT, do you think there might have been extra space in the cavity for a water tank and that is why there is so much extra room? Maybe Ky Grady can shed some light on this since he recently replaced his aux tank. I would be interested to hear since I only have a main tank in my boat.

Looking for material to replace your dash panels?

I asked them to send me a sample and they were very responsive.

    New owner - quick question

I looked at the ad and I zoomed in on the side next to the window and it says "Seafarer 22".

    New owner - quick question

I would say that is a GW 228 Seafarer. There might be an identifying decal on the dash or next to the Grady White logo next to the side windows.
