It really isn't a silly question..........every time that I try to replace something on my '82 Offshore I find that the parts available now are smaller than original equipment....rod holders.....gas filler cap.....can't find a wheel spinner that fits my steering wheel....happens all the time...

I had the same problem in my 24 Offshore. The storage locker is so small that the rope would kink and twist no matter what I did. As I only usually anchor in 100 ft or less I stored the last 150 ft of line in a 3 gal bucket in the cabin. It helped quite a bit.

I did it this spring. Not too difficult. Just make sure that you don't damage any wiring or anything when you pull them. Good Luck!

Each side is just one piece and as currently configured they do not roll up. They are anchored in a channel at the top.....snapped at the bottom and zippered to the front and back pieces.
