I recently had a drop off in RPM at WOT with my Evinrude ETec.....traced the issue to the throttle body on the motor itself. There was a plastic roller on the mechanism that advances the throttle that had broken and fallen off. Cost me about $9.99

Why not if it suits your application? Although I have had great success trolling 5 lines from my Offshore using 2 outrodders ....one line down the middle and 2 lines on the corners with flatline clips.

There should be any number of canvas fabricators in your area. When I needed my cockpit enclosure redone I asked around at the local yacht club and got put in touch with a guy who did a great job. I would think canvas for a Bimini should be easier...??

I am no expert certainly but I have the circuit breaker mounted at the helm. I keep it open until I want to deploy the anchor to help prevent any accidents.

Mustang.......I have no experience with molded plastic (poly) tanks so I can't really answer your question except to say that I could not get a molded tank to replace the main on my Offshore. 93 gallons and built to fit in the space between the stringers. Maybe you want to start a thread on THT? :)

You will see plenty of threads here regarding gas tanks but that is a common problem with any boat, I believe. An aluminum fuel tank in a boat has a finite life expectancy and if you keep your boat long enough it will need replacing.

They are not exactly a kind and thoughtful group over there....in my experience.

Your call obviously but I will say that in 20 years of hard use.....full load of fishermen.....hours and hours trolling....my 1997 Yammi 250 only needed anything other than regular maintennance twice.....and it was my fault both times.

I added a soft bag under my hardtop for life jackets. Decided it was too difficult to get in the cabin and dig through my fishing gear to get to the storage compartment under the V berth...especially in a crisis.
