Interesting...When taking out my switch panel, I saw a loose wire that was the aerator. I know my livewell switching isn’t working but why would the aerator not have a switch for it? What year is your 228?

Agreed, but I would still inspect the connector, unscrew it and make sure it doesn’t have a manufacturing defect when it was put together. I know very little about antennas but could tell there was an issue with it. After taking it apart and putting back together, I actually got reception.

Thanks...I’ll give this a try. I’m going to clean up all terminals first. Should I attempt to troubleshoot the bridging cable or just remove it and use battery #1 only to see if the same drop to 8.8 exists? I’ll fill everyone in by this weekend as I should be by the boat again.
