For those that are interested, Marine Town still sells the stainless steel cockpit drains to individuals. It’s about $40 a piece plus shipping, taxes and surcharge so around 100 or so.

I would go with the 250 electronic. However, definitely check what your boat is rated for and how it sits in the water. Also, shop around as I thought the Suzuki’s were heavier in relation to Mercury Four and Yamaha. Price might be right but I would be nervous about how much it would weigh it...

Which location do you find better? I thought the feedback was to not put by the drain plug due to how the water might run off the hull at that point. I am planning to put two new transducers and was curious if I should put them almost side by side like my current ones to the right like yours...

Well, I assume you are expecting to have a separate cranking battery for each and a switch depending on how you want to run them. Is that what you are referring to?
