    Do you have a macerator, and a through hull under that starboard vee berth? If so, you can pump out off shore, depending on the limit for your area. Here it is 3 miles. If you don’t have those things, you are limited to dockside pumpout only.

    If it is primarily for slip use, make sure the fastening system is designed for that, and not for walking around a trailer. I would go for a fabric like ripstop, that you can cram into a stuff sack, not a bulky sunbrella type.

    I've never seen it, and my Grady bracket doesn't have it. A lot of motors get water spraying around the cowling, in certain speeds and conditions. Maybe it was to deflect that.

    That doesn’t help, if there’s no power to the pump. Look for an in-line fuse holder coming off of your battery selector switch on a brown with pink stripe wire.

    If it was in one of the seat boxes, there should be a pop out plate somewhere on the base to access the connections.
