    Voyager Hard Top

Yes, there is a market for hard tops and frames.

    Cabin cover

I don’t think that a full cover was ever a factory option, but I could be wrong again. Probably a previous owner, or an enterprising dealer.

    helm cover for pattern.

If you use the string re-inforced plastic sheeting and two-sided tape, from Sailrite or elsewhere, make sure you put down painters tape first. The two-sided tape is a real chore to remove.

    Cabin cover

If you have tracks outside of the hard top frame, they are most likely for a cover.

    Cabin cover

I thought he had a hard top, and was referring to the awning track, that the top of an enclosure would slide into.

    Fuel Fill Hoses...Who's Changed Theirs?

My '93 Tournament had a spare set taped to the originals, but I never switched them. Only thing I recall GW ever doing with a future owner in mind. Can you see the full route of your hoses, and both end connections.

My SF228 does not have a crossmember, just the front and rear framing.

    Fuel milage?

You need to consider what species you are trolling for, and the speed required. It is hard to slow troll live bait at 2 miles an hour, with a 200+ engine, and hard to fast troll with a minimum sized kicker. If the kicker would give me the desired speed, at mid range RPM, that would be my choice.

    Fuel milage?

I troll a 225 ox66 two stroke, around 7-8 mph, and slightly over 2 mpg. I get better economy cruising at 30 mph, and just under 3 mpg. Trolling economy might look good, if you are reading gallons per hour, but you're not covering much ground. I would be interested to know if actual mpg is better...

New Fisherman 222 Owner with a trailer/hull position question

Assuming the 4 inches would do the trick, drive to the ramp parking lot, move the winch stand four inches forward, back the boat in until it floats, and winch it snug to the stand. You don’t have to unload the boat from the trailer, and you don’t need to be on the ramp more than a couple of minutes.

    Paint on Cushions?

They weren’t painters either, so before I put any paint thinner on that vinyl, I would hope that maybe she used a latex paint. Try hitting it with a pressure washer, if you don’t have one take it to the car wash and blast it with the hose

    Refurbishing Cockpit Bolster Pads

I have never seen anyone end up with horizontal pleats, please post a picture if you do! Pleats running the width of the bolt, instead of the length, became readily available quite a while ago. Yes, this is an old thread, but after reading some of the linked articles, I want to point out one...

    WTB Vinyl black "awning" Rope

Awning companies use far more of this stuff than boat builders do. Check with your local awning company if you just need a few feet.

    Thru hull identification - ‘84 offshore I/O

Higher one could be a sink drain. Have someone stick a water hose to the outside, and see where they come out on the inside.

How do you take this apart??

    Probably any auto parts store.

    Chase Propping

I would say that you are way over propped. Have your mechanic do a print out of the ECM history, and you will get hours run at every rpm range by thousands. You will see if it has ever run in the correct range, and how many hours, or whether it has been over propped its entire life.

    Hook near the transom

An exaggeration, hopefully. I believe that you can also have a straight line on the bottom, and then the transom is lower in the last foot or so, without having the big bow upward.
