    89 Sailfish Toggle Switch Labels?

A quick google search returned https://www.legend-plates.com/specialty/marine-and-rv I would also give New Wire Marine a shout. They do a lot of work with full panels - maybe they can do small things, too? Or, you might just want to have New Wire make a brand new panel, pre-wired with new...

HELP WITH Grady 257 2021 Fisherman Fresh Water Leak Found When Servicing

Suggest you start a new thread and explain your problem in more detail. Leaking water can be from multiple things so probably not "the same problem"... or at least not the same cause. To be honest... I couldn't follow what was being said in the original post (from last year) - it seem jumbled...

Where to buy table pedestal base and parts?

Screw down? I'm not sure what that is - the posts don't usually screw into the base. Off the top of my head, look to systems/packages by Todd, JIF or Springfield.

    The POD influence

In a word... better. Because the engine sits further back, it effectively has more "leverage" on the boat. So it can provide more lift and better performance. The downside is that sometimes reversing is a little more difficult because the prop wash hits the transom. But that can be mitigated...

    Silicon caulk or 4200?

Yes, definitely don't use 4200 for that - it's also not UV stable. I've never used 4000UV, but isn't that still a pretty strong adhesive? But again, never used it so can't say from personal experience. 3M does make a silicone sealant that you might consider due to being easier to remove...

Thruster install on 232, will post pics!

It appears the tube is fiberglass, not plastic. Is that correct? If so, I think you're good. Grab the motor by hand and shake it - does it feel solid? If not, add some more glass around the inside. But I think you'll be just fine if it's a glass tube.

    Broken plastic through hull fitting

Yeah, the UV gets to them and they turn brittle. Your other ones are probably not far behind and it might be a good idea to replace now before they break off while you're out on the water - that could be bad! If it didn't just pop back through the hole - go ahead and get rid of any of the...

    Engine Trim not working?

Agree. When a solenoid/relay gets flaky it may still make a "clicking" sound but it's not actually contacting "enough" internally to pass enough amperage to operate the accessory. In your case, Tony, the accessory was operating - it was getting plenty of power. Something else is going on.

    Beach to Bow Boarding

There's definitely no reason a transom boarding ladder couldn't be used. The question is whether it extends down far enough to be useful... or will another ladder be needed to get to the first rung of the boarding ladder ;) It may just take a little thinking/ingenuity to attach it (like in...

    Beach to Bow Boarding

Yeah, rope ladders are tough. As soon as you step on them, they swing in and you're put in an almost horizontal position holding yourself from falling backwards. I've never used this brand, but have often thought it was a good design - check out Bumper Becky.

    Broken plastic through hull fitting

Sure! If you can get a heat gun on the hose (and there's nothing in the vicinity that could catch fire!), that will make it more pliable. Is it a plastic fitting?

Washdown pumps, 3.5 vs 4 gpm.

It is, indeed, insignificant. Look at the numbers compared to what can flow through the thru-hull.

    Broken plastic through hull fitting

Often times you are working blind on boats. If you can get a hand on it, consider yourself lucky. You could take a few pictures of it to get a better idea of what you're up against. But, basically, you need to remove the clamp, then wrestle the hose off, then unscrew the nut, then remove the...

Washdown pumps, 3.5 vs 4 gpm.

It's highly unlikely that a 4gpm pump will drain the ocean faster than a secondary pump can also pull water in :) 60PSI has more cleaning power. In the end... it doesn't really matter. It's an insignificant point to discuss.

    Kicker motor

No, you can purchase a binnacle mount that goes on top (either left or right of the helm gauges)... or you can purchase a side mount. They will both work with the engine. I'm assuming you didn't already buy a control box without planning ahead... but looking back at your post, you didn't...

    Kicker motor

What's your current setup? A top-mounted box (binnacle mount)? Do you have room to use a side-mount box for the kicker? How 'bout room for a binnacle on the port side of the helm/gauges? I think the name of the game here is to think creatively.

Where do you store your cushions?

The head is a perfect place to keep them. The head probably gets used only a very small percentage of the time, if at all. For those few times when you need the head, just move the cushions out.

    Receiver?

I'd be willing to bet there's info in your owner's manual about that. Look in that. If you don't still have the original, download it from GW's site.

Quick question: Wireless phone charger - will it interfere with magnetic compass if mounted too close?

Temporarily wire it and hold it near your compass - and/or in other locations. There's no reason to "guess" when you can "do".
