yea, i would use the bow/trailer eye. its designed for the load and is a better pull angle as well. a line with a knot and a caribiner would work.

how much of a pain was it to dig out that caulk? i am planning to re-seal my hatch. it seems like digging caulk out of deep and narrow gap would be tough

i had this on my shower glass. we did use vinegar, but we had to let it sit. we soaked paper towels in the vinegar and "clung" them to the glass. hit them with a spray bottle of vinegar to keep them from drying out. it still took a bit of effort, but it worked

any reason to limit yourself to a 263? if you are only looking at 2000+ years of the 263, you will have a very limited number of boats. is there a reason you are not considering the 273?
