I have owned a Seafarer, Gulfstream and Currently a Sailfish. Could never understand why GW dropped such a popular model. With that said I'm sure if I ever own a Marlin or 33 Express That would be my favorite GW. For now I vote Seafarer, Gulfstream and Sailfish as a tie.

Two years ago I repowered my Sailfish with twin F250 4.2L engines. The props were back ordered so I used my old props which we 15 1/4 X 19 and was getting around 4900 RPMs. The new props, 15 1/2 X 17 delivered optimum performance of 5900 RPMs. The thrust and top end improved dramatically. Fin Addict Marine makes the actual hatch so I would assume they have the hinges. What hear is the boat? My 04 has the same hatch but it has one ginge that runs the entire width

They look good. I sue Amor All on mine and it last about a month. It is a 10 minute application. Let us know if you method last all summer

I am 5'11 and I can stand in the head and cabin on my 282 with no issues. Never been on a 265. I was a victim of the F225 corrosion issues and it forced me to upgrade to 4.2L F250s. Make sure you get those engines lookes at!

if you are talking about the side vent window, that does not snap back into the frame, It is held in the frame by the plastic arm that is used to open and close the window. I also added a little silicone in the frame to hold the window with a bit more security.

35-45 is a pretty common wind where we are so mine would commonly be zipped for that. Definitely remove if it is forecast to reach hurricane force.

TJ - after reading your post I second wondered if I posted incorrect info but when I checked it is listed in 04 catalog as 600HP.. Really strange the 05 listed at 500.

I had an 4 Gulfstream that was powered by a F225. I read on here that the boat with that engine is underpowered, I never had an issue the 4 guys loaded with ice and gear. Would it have been nice to have more power, of course. I think the twin 140's will be a very nice package

Some boats have a push on off at the faucet faucet nozzle. I have had people shut the water off there and when you turn the water on you get nothing. Long shot but give it a check.

I have used Amerol in the past and it does a pretty good job. Never thought of using 303. Will definitely try that.

I just did my vent window. Local glass shop had too send it to a supplier bc it had to be tempered glass. Took 3 weeks bc of the virus shut dyowns and cost $295. I used the opposite side as the template too. If you use the guy in Florida, call Grady White and get the part number before calling him.
