Not sure what size boat but on my 282 we have a factory installed hot water heater. It heats when connected to shore power but the water stay hot for a very long time. I have been out diving and 6 hours after leaving the dock the water is still very warm and comfortable for a quick shower. The...

I had a 2004 Gulfstream and it it was lumber to a Y valve for either pumpout or overboard discharge. The porta potti had its own water tank which was filled with fresh water. This was the factory installed head for that size boat and year.

    Heading out in a bit

Russ, Most of us have been in the same situation and yes it is frustrating when the darn boat does not work right after launching. It is worth the aggravation when you finally get the bugs out and you get great days cruising, fishing or just hanging out on an anchor. Better days are coming!

    Wash down not working

For the pump pressure shut off to kick in you would have to have had a hose connected and closed nozzle on the hose. Since there is no hose and no pump running the first thing to do is to check the fuse for that pump. if the fuse is good you will have to check power to the pump and if the power...

Best way to clean off mildew

StarBrite has a mold/mildew cleaner that works great even on cushions but not fabric. It has a buffered bleach so that the cushion threads are not damaged as could happen with bleach. My cushions looked amazing after trying it.

New arm rest pads from Pompanette?

This is a picture of an easy fix hat put up last summer. A pair of women's ankle socks on one arm rest and a new expensive rubber cover on the other. They socks look great and do not have that annoying grab onto your shirt feature the rubber ones have. Buy a couple of pair and when one gets...

    new to great grady

The 24 can easily handle moderate seas. I once had a 22 Seafarer and would travel 20 miles out with no problem. Good luck, I went from a 19 foot Mako to a GW 22, 23 and now a 28 footer and never looked back. I think you will be happy with your decision.

    Shore Power

My Sailfish has a battery operated refrigerator that runs constantly when on shore power and the batteries are always fully charged. Some of the newer refrigerators have a dual power capability so they switch automatically from DC to AC. Either type of unit you have, the batteries can handle it...
