Anyone else hate wiring bilge pumps? I admit it, I'm challenged by the wiring. The rear bilge pump works automatically or by the dash switch. My front pump works only by the dash switch. I put a 1500 pump in today as the 500 model was having issues. I cannot figure out the wiring...

I can post a photo if that helps. I just changed out the fresh water strainer bowl as it was not only plugged but also cracked from a bit of ice.

What is the best way to clean the tops of my fuel tanks? I think I have tuna blood that has leaked through, but I don't want to compromise the connections by using a power washer. What have others used?

I had a Simrad pump installed on the same level as the diesel tank for the genset, bad idea. Too much corrosion. The replacement pump is under my the captains seat, corrosion free. Hose length is the only difference. Get it put where water is not present, stay away from the bilge area.

I'd also be interested in what you do. My first TV was dead, replaced with a near sized TV but it doesn't fit the mount. I do watch the occasional DVD movie but could do without. I'd rather have more storage.

Would you give some specifics on the fish box chiller? I don't have one. I have a genset, where did the chiller unit get installed? Wondering if I have the room.
