    Fresh water system leak

I found an annoying leak this weekend, No Bail was on the money, it was the fresh water shower on the transom. Water would dribble down the hose into the rear bilge...then down to the bow. I couldn't see the trickle at all...I was in there working and felt it was wet when I shifted the hose ! A...

    Winch issues ....

Thanks OCNSIR the Marlin had 14mm when I got her, I had troubles, checked the manual it and Says 12-14mm, 6mm chain. I tried 12mm but it kept jamming in the windlass. The 14mm is fine except for the splice.... I'm getting a sparky to check things out as I agree it may be a voltage problem.

    What is this ?

Scott thank you for going to the effort posting, I appreciate it. Your long distance purchasing method seems very thorough, very similar to how David Pascoe describes in his book. I'm very keen to go ahead with the purchase of a Marlin, wish me luck ! Thanks !
