    22 seafarer back splash gaurd

With my Seafarer, or my previous Tournament, with the bow raised on the trailer, I could run a water hose on the cockpit floor faster than the 2 stern scuppers could clear it. I hate to think of the instability a wave sloshing around in there would create in a choppy ocean, with no quick way to...

Can't imagine having a white all around light in front of me while trying to see at night.

    22 seafarer back splash gaurd

You will instantly understand the logic the first time you raise your motor with the gate locked in the up position. Cowlings are expen$ive. Also, if you take on a stern wave underway, you can instantly goose the throttle, and send the water back out an open gate, whereas having to go back and...

What is this Buss for? Grady provides the answer

Not the first to post the mystery 100A breaker question, but I don't recall if the others had black wire leads. OP said located by the chill box. Is that a fish box, and does it have chill plates?

    2001 Tournament 223 - Water System ?'s

Look on the front of the helm passenger seat pedestal, for a large silver cap, just like the gas cap, that says water. Tank is under the forward deck, between helm seats, in aux fuel compartment. edit: Sorry, I thought I read 228, but it might be the same system.

What is this Buss for? Grady provides the answer

Assuming that he bought the boat new, the breaker has already been in the off position for four years, so if he hasn't noticed something not working by now, I don't think that is going to work.

    Blast from the past

That piece screwed to the top of the transom, to mount the Seadrive, is just plain weird. Later versions had the high pivot, but were mounted below the rub rail.

HULL WEIGHT AND GAS TANK CAPACITY FOR MY OLDER GRADY WHITE SEAFARER

You have a round pop out pie plate over each tank's connections. There is also a mfg's plate there, which gives capacity. You have an '88 for sale in your signature. Do you now have a '98?

    Yamaha 2stroke question

I think he said that it would restart when it was hot, in that first 15 minutes. It's that 15 to 60 minute window that is problematic.

Live Well on my 22 seafarer

Sea cock handle is parallel in the photo, which should be open, UNLESS someone has taken the nut off and rotated it 90*. Pump will work with the boat sitting still, no speed necessary.

Live Well on my 22 seafarer

Those pumps usually do fine, just sitting on top of the sea cock. Don't know what kind of tank you are using, but if the intake is near the bottom, just dump a 5 gallon bucket of sea water in there, and it should back fill the lines, but I don't think that's the problem.

Seastar Hoses for a 22’ Seafarer

Norcoastal, do you still have your bulkheads out? If so, should be easy to pull the lines out the front.

    Yamaha 2stroke question

Boslaw, not knowing that the push button on your throttle was to disengage the shifter means that you have never tried to start your engine at any rpm other than idle. That opens up a whole 'nuther world of possibilities. You need to take the cowling off the engine, tilt it up and turn to one...

    Yamaha 2stroke question

Not usually the gaskets that go bad in an LP fuel pump, but the diaphragm itself. With hoses still connected, loosen the mounting screws a few turns, until you can wiggle the pump, and give a few squeezes on the bulb. If gas runs out, the diaphragm is leaking.
