    Side vent window latch

What goes bad on these latches? Is it the round cap on the outside of the glass, that breaks down from UV, and then the glass pops off?

Seafarer - hard top electronics box for tackle storage?

Leave the hang tags on them, makes them easier to pull out of a stack, horizontal or vertical.

I think the water gets trapped somewhere mid way, not in the front bilge where the pump is.

    228 Scupper Question

You started the post by saying that you replace them every year, and now you say that you needed a new set. My 228 is 21 years old, and still running the originals, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Sea-Dog looks like it would work. I already ordered a couple of spares, so have at it...

    Cup Holder Replacement.

I guess it depends on the lip on your replacement. You want it to fit tight to the fiberglass surface, with out a gap.

    cleaning boat

Sounds like you are on a trailer, with all the work you are doing. A lot of Gradys will not drain from the front, even with the trailer jack all the way up, unless you raise the motor and block the jack way up. Mine only drains on the ramp.

    Seafarer 228 4 blade vs 3 blade

SMG was running F250's, not 225's. IIRC, he went from 17 pitch 3 blades to 16p 4 blades.

335 Freedom ski pylon - how to plug the hole?

First, congratulations on removing it, there have been some mighty struggles, and failures, here in the past. For a buck or two, you could start with a PVC plumbing plug from Lowes, just to see what kind of threads you have. For variety, Mcmaster Carr.

    Seafarer 228 4 blade vs 3 blade

There is quite a bit of feedback on that question, if you search recent prop threads.

17M is a stainless Yamaha Prop. 17 inch pitch, M Is the series, in this case V6 prop shaft, 150 to 300 hp at the time. They have enough of some alloy to be pretty magnetic.

    228 livewell question

Sounds like you have separate pick ups for each. Washdown is a closed system, nowhere for it to leak if the sprayer nozzle is closed.

Please help! Refurbishing old Tournament 192 and clueless

Good start, and good luck! Strange to see one without an access door in the walkway, to the passenger side console. That's good storage, but you have to get on your hands and knees from the back, or reach through from the bow seat on that one. I never opened that rear access on the 22 I just...

    Fuel Fill Help!

Holy cow! I’m going to put a bigger chain on mine, before the meth heads find out how much a Grady White gas cap is worth. Just from memory, the cap on my water tank fill seems to be the same size and style as the fuel fill. Not sure if it is marked water or plain, but that could be an option...

    Replacing horn on 2003 228

Needle nose pliers won't reach very deep. If you have some long nose hemostats, they may work better. Just start pinching around, and see if you get any bites.
