HPDI 200 - how smooth should it run at low RPM?

If, indeed, the HPDI does engage all 6 when put in gear, is it the same technology on the OX66?

    Livewell drain fitting

The live well inlet is low in the tank. Without that check valve, the live well will gravity drain, unless the pump runs non-stop. The more expensive the bait is, the more likely someone will turn the pump off by accident.

    Needa advice

Sibs, maybe those people don't ride their motorcycles that much in the winter, in Mass., and that's where the fuel sits, not in the station tanks

Rocket Launcher Rod Holders? 330 Express

Some rocket launchers angle way back, and the rods hang halfway across the cockpit, and can get caught by people casting. I think 15 degrees off vertical is max.

    Spring projects...

That's what they are. Mine has them, I think they all do. They come with tape on the end, might be a good idea to put a plug in the ends to keep insects from building in there, In case someone adds an aux tank some day. My '93 Tournament actually came with an extra set of fill and vent hoses...

    Vintage Lapstrake Grady Hull?

And your Columbian has one more plank in the side than Grady's design, so I doubt it was built from a Grady mold.

Rocket Launcher Rod Holders? 330 Express

I am 6-1, and had my installer weld them so that the bottom of the rod holder is 4 inches above the top of my head. That is a pain that I really want to avoid if possible. That was on my Tournament 22, on my Seafarer, they are factory height. The scary thing to me is someone who is not aware...

    Livewell drain fitting

It is never a bad idea to replace an old hose, especially if it is stiff and/or cracked on the surface. If your livewell drain thru hull is like mine, it is well above the waterline, and I would have no problem disconnecting it in the slip. As I recall, I did as you suggested, and attached the...

    Vintage Lapstrake Grady Hull?

Every boat builder in the country built lapstrake wooden skiffs, it was their bread and butter until fiberglass took over in the late 60's, early 70's. And when they made the switch to fiberglass, they still used the lapstrake design, because that's what everyone thought as small boat was...

Rocket Launcher Rod Holders? 330 Express

If you have it, you will always find an easy way to get them down. If you don't have it, you will never have enough places to store your rods. On a boat that size, go for 8 or 10.

    Rear scuppers on a 248

Smart would be to separate the drain from the elbow, before trying to remove those old stiff hoses. A lot of us have done this job, some several times, and there is a lot of info and pics on the site. Searching "Scupper hose replacement" turned up these...

    Rear scuppers on a 248

The nut is actually built into a flange underneath the deck. The flange goes on loosely, then you screw the deck drain into the elbow, if the hose is already attached to the elbow, which is the easiest way to get the hose on. But, you have to have the length just right to get the drain to screw...

    Rear scuppers on a 248

On my 2000 Seafarer, the rear scuppers are 2 piece. The deck drain screws into the plastic elbow below the deck, but there is a locking nut holding the drain tight to the bottom of the deck, which has to be loosened.

    232 Electrical issue

There are probably at least 2 fuse blocks, one in the overhead, and one under the helm. And one or more switch panels, on the dash, and maybe to the right of the driver, under the side window. It would help answering your questions if we knew which block or panel each question refers to. I was...

    Add a Fighting Chair

Can't speak for the OP, but some people just use the term 'fighting chair', when what they really have in mind is a fishing chair.

Adding rod holders on gunnels, 330 Express

Or, it might swivel twice as easily. You could try this non-swivel extender, keep your heavy rod holder in case you get longer butts in the future. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313&_nkw=Lee%27s+Rod+Butt+Extender&_sacat=0

Adding rod holders on gunnels, 330 Express

You might try something like this for your short bent butt, to raise it a little. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Pieces-Drop-in-Swivel-Rod-Holder-Converter-for-Boat-Yacht-Rod-Fishing/174359150029?hash=item28989d7dcd:g:oJEAAOSwHtVfGTV4...
