    Anti Siphon Valve

I think they're pretty much all the same, aren't they? Probably 1/4". Are you sure it's bad? Spray it with some brakleen and shake it around and clean it out.

    Plastic tub repair

I used that foamboard insulation as a core to a hatch over a gas tank. At the time, anyways, I was able to get 1/2" foamboard from Home Depot... but it was purple :) Also try Lowes. But that's still kinda thick and an overkill. I like the underlayment idea (luan/etc). You might be able to...

Stainless vs bronze vs Marelon, SS screws

Yes, your retroactive google definition of stagnant is correct. However, a more "still" area of water in a marina where a boat may be moored is NOT going to be stagnant. You're grasping at straws. Even if somone's definition of stagnant slightly differs from someone else's, you should be able...

Need photo of 2008 or newer 330

Jip, it must be the pictures, but when I look at your picture, there doesn't appear to be any more of a "45*" than that other picture? Yes, welding a 1/4" SS plate would work just fine (make sure they use an SS filler material!), BUT... You could look into other ladders, too. Windline is nice...

    Plastic tub repair

Bob, that was all Skunk! A simple, but ingenious, fix for a common problem that, otherwise, can be quite costly to fix.

The ladder you're talking about is just a regular platform mount ladder, right? That should be fine. Just mount it so the aft end is off the edge of the platform enough to let the ladder drop straight down.

    I'm putting on some Neosporin.

With the wood, glass fiber and plastic resin, though, doesn't the three of those things just make it a higher end composite?

Stainless vs bronze vs Marelon, SS screws

Most of what you've said I (or others) have already answered many times before so I'm going to skip over most of it. No, it's not opinion. But if you would do your OWN research you would find the same things I am trying to educate you on. Grabbing a picture off of Grady's website showing...

Great way to do that, Pat!

Stainless vs bronze vs Marelon, SS screws

Still vastly missing the point and grossly over exagerating. You seem focused on trying to find justification through internet research. Because a company makes something, doesn't mean it's best practice. Go back and re-read (and this time actually READ it) what I've written in each post...

Stainless vs bronze vs Marelon, SS screws

Everything you posted here is not about underwater stuff. In regards to what Seasick was asking about on a boat, he was referring to ON A BOAT. The SS "seaock" you posted... of course we've seen SS stuff like that... but that's a SHUT OFF for use on land in plumbing systems. The SS strainer...

Stainless vs bronze vs Marelon, SS screws

Mustang, we discussed this a few times, but that other thread where we were talking about this was (mentioned numerous times) in regards to plumbing BELOW the water line. Below = under water. This is sometimes the problems with opinions and internet stuff - if the the details (reading) aren't...

    Clean Mildew off Clear Vinyl

You should be fine to use a mild solution of bleach/water, as well. You don't need much bleach, at all, to do the job.

    I/O to Outboard

It's a pretty big job - and if you're paying someone to do it the labor will get expensive very quickly (along with the prices for the OB/controls). Fill the outdrive hole, run a transverse support across the inside of the transom, tie the transom into the stringers with knee walls or aluminum...

Stainless vs bronze vs Marelon, SS screws

Marelon is definitely one of those "special" things that isn't known about too well - although it's been around for quite a long time. It's glass reinforced. Another one of these "special" things is "Marinium"... It was expensive and got hard for manufacturers to keep using so it went away for...

    Recommended VHF Antenna Length?

Agree. Get the 8'. Being on the hardtop, it's not like it's going to be in your way :) And don't skimp on the antenna - there are cheap ones for $50 - but they ARE cheap. Get something like the Galaxy series from Shakespeare - like the 5225, if memory serves.

    Plastic tub repair

That's a pretty good way to do it - losing a couple inches of tub depth but keeping the process simple. I like it! I think you'll be fine with the glass to plastic adhesion, as well. Depends on the type of plastic, too. But heck, by now, that plastic has probably lost all of it's...
