    New Pipe for Hardtop

I hear you Glacier....but am not so sure on that. Agree some heavy trolling gear would add up. However, rods will possibly have a different affect than the solid block...dunno....maybe.......Just seems that this weight being at the very top aft is not a good thing. If you held this block and...

    New Pipe for Hardtop

Update, I just removed the PVC block and weight it with the speakers is 20lbs .Way heavier than I thought. This might have been my problem all along. I am using some of this block to make speaker boxes and will mount them under the helm and re-install the original rocket launcher for now. Here...

    New Pipe for Hardtop

Thanks for the feedback folks. I just sent an online quote request to WMW and see if they still make or offer these frames. Regarding the hardtop, I have tested and checked all areas of the core when re-drilling or re-sealing where anything is mounted and so far, always get dry clean wood out...

    Lewmar profish700 horizontal on a 2003 GW Gulfstream >> HELP !! Question ..

8 plait will lay much flatter than the others out there. In our case where the drop is, it will slide back some and take care of itself. Would it be better further aft? Sure. But unless you do the hatch install/mod, it is much easier to mount on the pulpit, even if you need to open the hatch...

    Anchor size for 272 sailfish

I have been using a Delta fast set 13# rated to support a 25' boat, it did ok, but went to a 22# for deeper water and it does ok in less than 30' water, but start going deeper and sometimes they take a bit to set. In my case, I have 600' 8 plait 1/2" line with 25' 1/4" high test chain and still...

    Bow Pulpit Upgrade

Hi folks, thought worth an update. Problem with the clearance resolved! After a summer (with very few trips due to weather & covid) we found the 22# delta style anchor just does not hook up quickly when fishing in 100' or so depth. After a lot of Youtube videos and forum discussions, I decided...

    Leak in Cabin

Is that near midships on the side? If so, I vote rubrail. I had to redo mine a couple years ago. Had water coming in after an offshore trip. Seems that the spray or waves and forward momentum put enough pressure to force it in this area. Just removed the screws, cleaned, recaulked and no more...

    Lewmar profish700 horizontal on a 2003 GW Gulfstream >> HELP !! Question ..

I installed my Lewmar Profish 700FF and it works great with the 20' 1/4" high test chain and 8 plait rode highly recommended. It lays better than the nylon line. I added an aluminum plate for backing.

I have an original 2 step from my swim platform that measures 13-3/4 width bolt hole to bolt hole center.

    Cabin Starboard side rod holders

I installed rod grommets in both the anchor locker bulkhead and the head bulkhead to handle any length needed. I use 5'6" standup rids for trolling and stand them up in the cabin tied together with ball bungees.

    SeaDek updrade

Good point, I am in the same boat, wondering if it would be a huge mistake.

    SeaDek updrade

I wonder how hard it will be to remove it in 5 years? I would think a nightmare for large pieces especially?

    Unbelievable product

When working with any of the strong acids, all materials should be protected regarding concrete or metal. Even Galvanized. It might not look like it did anything, but it show up later on some of these like concrete and Galvanized. Concrete will hold the water longer than metal, so keep it wet...

Hi, I love the job on the Seadek. That is same color and what I want to do to my 25' Sailfish. Do you mind if I ask the approx. cost for this type of job? Assume was professionally measured but you installed it yourself?

Do you think these cushions will clean up?

WOW on the armrests, I have seen those on boats before and said, gee, those have to be replaced. No way to clean that! But, those look amazing! Nice recovery! One thing I have experienced if you get in a bind....I had some black specs in the vinyl on my seats. Nothing I tried would work, even...

    New Pipe for Hardtop

Anyone every had a new pipe build for their hardtop? Not sure if I would call it a tower, but the existing factory aluminum pipe keeps getting cracked and I have had several weld jobs done and re-inforcements/gussets installed as well as additional stress pipes installed over last few years. I...

    Rhodan on a GW Marlin

Is this a 36V or 24V system you are running? I was looking at the Rhodan's and didn't find a 96" offered? I wonder if no stealth installed, would these batteries last several hours on one day offshore? I would think so. I had a 20' bowrider boat I converted to fishing which was heavier than a...

    Rhodan on a GW Marlin

Even if using a 96", how many batteries and where to put them? My 25 Grady has a lot of windage. I can't imagine a trolling motor holding position, but maybe it can! Would be nice for sure. In the pic above, seems the trolling motor would just remain vertical and just raise/lower it and never...

    1993 sailfish sport bridge

The trim tab hydraulic reservoir should be under the deck berth behind the panel. That is where mine is on the 1992 model .
