    First post!

I don't recognize that engine model number. Is the boat a USA model or another country? The motor might be a OX66 type.. On that model year, there should be a tag on the motor bracket with the model and serial number (and date of manufacture) As far as I know Grady does not run this forum:) ( I...

    rebuilt powerhead

Does the working motor have the original oil mixing pump or has it been modified to use pre-mix? I think those VRO equipped motor were known for blowing up due to VRO failures and a lot were modified.

    Updating Instrument Panel

If the gauges work particularly the LCD display, there is a company that reconditions gauges for a pretty reasonable cost. I think you panel doesn't look too bad especially the switches. The rubber caps for the breakers are replaceable too. https://gaugesaver.com/ It's hard to tell looking at...

    Offshore 24 floor

As Dennis mentioned, there isn't a lot of space, specifically depth. In addition, the space is most likely filled with foam. You may be able to get a look using a borescope tool, a small camera on a flexible shaft. Some of those things are pretty inexpensive and come in different lengths of...

    Offshore 24 floor

Get into where to access what? Much of the deck area is gas tank There isn't a lot of 'bilge' depth off the center line . There are some spots you just can't easily get to.

An old mentor of mine would often remind me to not buy "a pig in a poke". If you don't know what that means, Google it:)

    Fresh Water - '97 Gulfstream

If there is a screen (filter) in the feed from the tank to the pump it needs to be checked for blockage. In any case, what is important is the flow rate(GPM) of the new pump and it's specified application. The application is fresh water pump. The flow rate most likely will be printed on the old...

    Holding Tank Question

That assumes that the plumbing doesn't leak and the tank vent seals the vent when the tank is full

    Fuel Leak

Don't use an adhesive like 4200 or 5200 etc. I do recommend a caulk sealant and for me Almond GE silicon looks and works well AND can be removed relatively easily:) The reason I think that caulk should should be used is to prevent water intrusion into the tank coffin when the deck gets splashed...

Not a grady but a nice gift

Trips. If you look for the aft end of the anti-ventilation plate bump in the wrap, you will see three of them.

    Holding Tank Question

If waste water accumulated in the bilge area under the head, you have a leak in or near the toilet fixture. Waste water should not under most scenarios run into the bilge. So you have a leak somewhere in the fixture plumbing or in the sanitary hose. About your other questions: A full holding...

    Fuel Leak

Happy Holidays. Fuel tanks can last fairly long periods and depending on what it is made, how well it is mounted and how much it is protected from the elements or vibrations, a pretty long time. In your case I believe your tank is aluminum. Tanks can develop leaks due to corrosion or abrasion...

    Navy Blue Hull and scratches?

The painted hulls are more prone to scratches based on my observations. Gel coat not as much at least for blemishes caused but rubbing as opposed to a more gouging type of contact. I have seen painted hulls seriously marred by shrinkwrap and I seem to remember some manufacturer's recommendation...

    Navy Blue Hull and scratches?

I thought that Grady temporarily stopped making hulls with gellcoat colors and painted them instead. Maybe I got that backwards. Regardless, if the color was used for several gel coated models and years, they might be a chance that Spectrum Colors has a patch kit that matches.

    rebuilt powerhead

Probably not worth rebuilding. I would look for a decent used later model motor. How low is low compression? (other cyls vs low ones)
