So I am probably going to just the sell the motor for parts. The lower unit and technically the whole unit are still under warranty. If the Honda rep that confirmed submersion didn't file that serial # as a voided warranty, he should be fired.

I would go with A&J and strata glass, given those 2 choices.

My comment was merely reflecting the lack of any obvious basic towing equipment, like a towing post, or any pipework to keep a tow line from catching on the outboard.

I'm not sure that something like a low idle water pressure alarm, or a temp warning below a certain point would throw a code. You get lights and alarms every time you turn the key on. What was the situation when the alarms went off, idling or running?

Maybe that's what the straps are for;)

KY said exactly what I was thinking last week, too many things on your plate, and trying to please too many people on what should have been a bare bones shakedown cruise. Take one person with some experience, and leave the alcohol and the fishing rods at home. Start at the lake.

I don't see any fore and aft bracing on that top. What am I missing? And those straps certainly don't help the sales presentation.

When it is hissing, turn off the power to the pump. If hissing remains, open the faucets, and see if it stops when the water pressure drops.

Were the engines peeing when the alarms were on? Keep your phone, or camera handy. Whenever you get an alarm, take a picture of your Yamaha gauges, so that you will know what they read, and what lights were on at the time.

I hope I was right last night, about the shift shaft. Otherwise, non of the work being done addressees the lower unit not engaging.

As I recall, you replaced the water pumps at some point. Probably did not get the shift shaft right when the lower unit went back on. Should be an easy fix on the trailer. Drop it down, line it up, and re-bolt.

The whole idea of a breaker over a fuse is that it is re-settable/re-usable. You seem to be replacing breakers every time you turn around.

How many PFD's in that whole video?

Grady glasses wooden blocks into the hull for pumps, etc. Probably 2 screws holding the base down. Tip: Use smooth bore hose for best results.
