Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ Sale

We had similar results in Florida Keys. Spots we fished for years with no idea why they produced. Also found we could improve our positioning to be closer to the structure. Here is a comparison of the standard fishing chart compared to the shaded relief on a favorite patch reef spot.

    282 Sailfish weight

13' 6" is what you will have on the interstate highways. Overpasses are usually more but this is safe. On other roads - State and local if you stick to the truck routes 13' 6" should be fine. I helped a friend ship a boat back from the Great Lakes area - hight was 13' but wide load - it was a...

    Towing a GW 235 with BMW X5?

Take the boat and trailer and have it weighed. You own it so no need to guess. Get a tongue weight too. May have to go to a trailer shop for this. Rent a UHaul if necessary. Note that they only equip trucks with 2" ball. They may not allow anything other than a UHaul trailer to be towed. I'm a...

    Re: Factory Canvas Color?

I have a number of earlier panels fro my 1998 Islander. It's Sunbrella Navy. The fabric wears extremely well. My tonneau cover is 25 years old and could pass for new. https://www.sailrite.com/Sunbrella-6026-0000-Navy-60 Most enclosure fabricators have gone to Stamoid which I don't really...

    Battery Issues

Don't panic yet. You need to slow down and get better information to decide what is happening. Batteries are not wired in series. Series would give you 24 VDC. I can see from the photo the black ground wire between the two negative posts. The red positive wires go to the switch positions 1 and...

Possible rotted tank or rotted fill hose.

Maybe cut the deck out carefully and do glass work to create a hatch. Alternative is cut the deck or, replace tank and re-glass it back in.

    Battery Issues

Your battery wiring diagram would be helpful. I have seen some GW's wired where the second battery is just a spare and not connected and reversed when the a/b switch is flipped. I'm a little concerned that the engine isn't charging the battery while running. Make sure the engine is charging the...

    Help wiring a washdown pump.

That's probably a circuit breaker on the panel. Yes swap it for a 15 amp one. X-marks the spot for the positive (red) wire to the pump. The negative (black) goes to the ground buss bar. 12 gauge wire is good for 20 amps. If there is existing 14 gauge wiring in place to where you want it you...
