    Tools for cleaning the boat?

Chemicals are your friend here - not something that's also going to sand away your gelcoat. Get a bunch of cheap, white rags (or towels) as well - paper towels don't work as well. Acetone will definitely do it - but it evaporates quickly so try some things like paint thinner, mineral spirits...

    206g inside drain plug

You're right - it could be the drain that goes directly to the cabin bilge. I guess it would help to have pictures... or just figure it out with a snake/water/air... easy enough to do and then there's no guessing.

    272 Sailfish Aux Fuel tank

Sure, it's possibile someone did - but you have to take into account those two things I mentioned which nullifies the answers. Heck, you could contact Grady and they may be able to get original specs - but again, that's original - which may be different than current. Which is why I'm saying...

    206g inside drain plug

Technically, that drain can be plugged to prevent the possibility of fuel leaking into the bilge and then subsequently pumped overboard. So not really "odd" - it's perfectly normal. But it's sort of a personal preference whether one wants to use it or not.

    272 Sailfish Aux Fuel tank

I don't know, but I would suggest measuring it in person, rather than trusting one of us knuckleheads to do the math for you :) Besides, with a boat approaching 3 decades old and who knows how many previous owners, it's possible a tank has been changed from original. Question... when you...

    Water Smells In Freshwater Tank:

Pouring a capful or two of bleach (or water additive) into the tank is a WHOLE lot less time consuming than continually buying/lugging gallons and gallons of distilled water! :) If you keep the water clean and treated, there's really no reason it can't be drank. There are LOT'S and LOT'S of...

    Fog outboard yes/no

The reason it's recommended is to cut down on possible corrosion to the interior, bare metal areas of the engine/combustion chamber. While it's certainly not a "life and death" thing, it's one of those "best practice" things. Meaning, it can only help to use it. But using the stabilizer is...

    Fog outboard yes/no

OK, so EFI can determine how you would normally fog since that's different than direct injected. But since you can't do it in the water, direct into the cylinders is all you can do and that's what I'd do, as well. Put the plugs back in, flip the kill switch and turn it over a a few times...

    Fog outboard yes/no

The answer can depend on the type of motor you have. But, if the boat is in the water like you say, then fog while it's in the water on the trailer?

    Trailer Slides

Not to one of my boats, but I've seen it happen with a bunk trailer, before. Or, I should say, I've seen the aftermath. Not pretty. Imagine what happens when a board breaks away from the metal mount that it's secured to.

    206g inside drain plug

Can you re-explain? It hard to understand what you're saying - for example, what does "on the inside or fwd of the pump" mean? And/or... post some pictures. Unless you're referring to a bulkhead that separates the aft bilge from something like the fuel "coffin" area? In that case, that's...

    Trailer Slides

Never used that brand, but have used others - they pretty much all work the same and they work GREAT! You didn't mention what type of bunks you have, but for 2x6 bunks, I've used the TieDown brand - the reason I liked those is that they are a 3-sided "cap" so the screws are into the sides of...

    Water Smells In Freshwater Tank:

Just a side note, with the cruisers that I've owned in the past, I've always used either a couple capfuls of bleach or a specific water sanitizer additive throughout the season and never had an issue with the fresh water holding tank. We drank the water, too. It's good "PM" to use something -...

    Water Smells In Freshwater Tank:

Was just about to add something about the aerators and Seasick already commented on it. But... yes, remove those ahead of time and leave them off while you're doing the flushing. I wouldn't remove the filter, though - just keep checking it - no reason to purposefully allow the gunk (or more...

    Water Smells In Freshwater Tank:

Honestly, I would take care of this now. Who knows what might grow in there if you wait. Winterizing a fresh water system is pretty easy and straight forward so it's not like it will take much time, either. Put about a half cup of bleach and 15 gallons of water in there. Check your water...

Footwell Removal Access to Trim Tabs Pump

Gotcha. Understood. I have no experience with this, but have heard some really good things about "zip wake" - you may want to at least check into them.

Nylon Snap Fasteners for 306 Windshield .

I would check with them again and ask them to find out who the manufacturer is. Start with that - to see if they're even still made - before you go hunting around. You could also contact Grady directly and ask them.

Footwell Removal Access to Trim Tabs Pump

I don't know your boat so can't help there - but if you know that's where it is, or if you looked in the manual and it said that's where it's located... is that the only removable thing nearby? Just out of curiosity, why are you going to Mente? Bennett makes a plug-n-play auto tab controller.

    Air conditioner 282 sailfish?

Not a Sailfish owner, but am very familiar with "cabin" boats. Yes, that will do just fine - the cabin really isn't all that big.

Pat, like Fishtailes mentioned, did you try your dealer?
