Possible solution... install a new drain location. Look/search for "bulkhead" fittings.

Low A/C voltage readout on Panel

Turn power off, disconnect shorepower cable. Remove the panel. Check for V at the power side of the gauge. Inspect all connections. Not just a cursory glance. Remove, inspect connectors and the visible, exposed wires. Clean connectors and contacts with a brass or SS detail brush. Put a...

    Broken driver side panel

Assuming the opposite corner is the same radius... wax the backside surface of the radius really well with a mold release wax. Tape off the rest. Lay a piece of wetted glass over it. When it's dry, you will have a mold that should closely approximate the other side and you can use to rebuild...

    Shoreline plug

You should have a main 30 amp breaker (probably 30) not too far from the cord inlet. You know your boat better than any of us and exactly where it is, but there should be information in your owner's manual about this, too.

    Not directly grady related

I've never bought a new phone and hope that I will never have to. I've used Swappa probably 6 or 7 times - more for my kids and wife as I still have an older iPhone SE. I really don't want to hold a tablet to my ear to make a call...

Storing Batteries on Concrete? Yeah or Nay?

No, but I see where the confusion is, now. I misread what Seasick wrote and the way I responded made it confusing. I think I was just reading and responding too quickly. Yes, a discharged battery will freeze before a fully charged one. o_O

Storing Batteries on Concrete? Yeah or Nay?

Yup, that's info from the "olden days" due to the case design. Problem is, because of the internet and forums (not THIS one!), misinformation gets passed along since someone will "hear" that concrete will discharge a battery and passes it along as fact and then it just keeps getting worse and...

Transom bang cap: replace with ss, vinyl or glass it over?

I agree, Bob. I don't understand why this was a problem for as long as it was. It's not like this is a hard thing to address/fix, either. As you noted, plenty of other manufacturers have been doing it better for a long, long time. The problem that can happen with an aluminum cap is that the...

    “Gelcoat Saver” for anchoring

I can see how retrieving an anchor (especially if it has chain) can be difficult - you have to kneel over and then you really don't have any support so it's tough on your back. And if you stand up, it's a long reach overboard, which isn't any better. If you wanted to, though, you could deploy...

Pasco Battery Not Selling Deka Marine Battery.

I pretty much never buy anything from West - I have better sources. But I've heard they will match advertised prices? Yes, Batteries Plus - sorry, forgot to mention that in my first post.

Pasco Battery Not Selling Deka Marine Battery.

I think I'd go for the NAPA version. Wait to buy it till you're ready to put the boat in the water and that 3 months will get you about half a season. Deka's area great batteries and there's an extremely small chance that it's going to crap out between month 4 to 12. For more than half the...

    Cabin table

Man, Rob, I had to read that first sentence 3 times till I "believe" I understand what you are saying! So... you have a table (that may or may not be already made), and you want to use a 90* aluminum tube to mount it? Garelick makes at least one 90* setup.

Pasco Battery Not Selling Deka Marine Battery.

Never heard of them. Never heard of Pasco battery, either. Is Precision the company that makes them or just the label on them? Find out who makes them. Personally, Deka is still my favorite (although you can find it under the Duracell labeling, too). If I bought anything else, it would be...

    Cracked block?

No, I think you are correct. But I think it was certain V8 models... 300HP, maybe 350HP? I guess I made an assumption that his '03 wouldn't be that big on a 22' boat? Something about small cooling passages that could get blocked easily by salt. I would imagine that since he's dry stacked...

    Cracked block?

"Draining" typically applies to inboard/stern drive engines. An outboard drains by gravity - as long as it's vertical, it will drain. However, 29* means nothing - not cold enough for long enough for it mean anything.
