    Be observant

I've had the Rule livewell pump leak too. Another reason why I leave the seacock closed unless I need to use the pump.

1998 Marlin 300 Windshield Washer Manifold

I know I've seen that posted here. I think its a generic plumbing part. Here https://www.greatgrady.com/threads/marlin-windshield-washer-part.34282/ https://www.greatgrady.com/threads/wiper-on-off-valve.29159/post-209083

hehehe In addition to losing ice....TWICE we had live peanut bunker on an offshore run, with the standpipe overflow....the pipe fell out and the bait tank was empty when we got there....TWICE!!!! Oh, we burned out a pump once too. I keep it closed and we don't use livies. Or we use a cooler...

265 Express Drop Transom gas shock

the 315...is a phone number. You need an Ameritool 750-6 series. Look at earlier posts. You sure you need one? test with & without it connected. The shock makes the tailgate seem lighter but it will still drop like a rock if the Ball/spring latches are shot. If it won't stay up, your...

No reason to turn them. You have counterrotating twins.

Is your port motor set to counter-rotate? You have APs right? I get confused...someone here was talking about getting mechanical zukes...

On the zukes the fin is not a "zinc" or anode. They are plastic. I left them on and set straight. I see no benefit in cutting them. You could remove them. Not sure what the empty space would do.

2005 Islander with new df200 ap's and magical props

I first did it with the ox66s to try and stop the wandering at slow speed. Damn boat would not go straight at idle speed. I heard about "toe out" and tried it. Just cranked the adjustment of the tie bar to make it longer. Motors are "28 on center" so I made the bar 28 1/2". It worked. Ran...

Yes I mentioned that in my df200 posts. Actually it worked well with the old ox66s too. Another way to explain it is “shorten or lengthen the tie bar”. It fixed the wandering at idle speed too. I’m at 28 1/2”

    Rod adapters

First, after looking at some pictures, I'm not entirely positive that the Grady rear corner rodholders on the 265 are 30s. I think they might be straight back 15s. The Grady forward rodholders are 15s angled out 45. Those are the only four that I did not install myself. I guess that it all...

    Rod adapters

look again... you got it backwards. they use 15 deg when angling out because 30s won't fit most gunnels angled out. rear corners are always 30s straight back.

    Rod adapters

0 is straight up (90 deg to the horizon). Everything is measured from that. So 15 deg is 75 deg from water 30 deg is 60 from water. Thats your choices... 0, 15, 30. Standard setup is rear corners 30 deg, pointed straight back. Next set fwd in gunnels are 15 degree, turned outward 45deg. bent...

    AutoPilot upgrade from manual hydraulic

as I said, Idk if the Parker fittings work on 1500 psi hose. Obviously, the threaded coupling is the same size. idk if the ID and OD of the hose are the same. I was mainly concerned with the difference between 5/16 1000psi hose and 3/8 nylon hose that uses compression fittings...

    AutoPilot upgrade from manual hydraulic

If you read thru the thread you see I use a combination of new premade and old 1000psi hose with replacement fittings. You can save a lot of money. In your case i don't think you can use those fittings on your old 1500 hose. Point is, you're not doing the cutting and the fastening of ends...

    Polishing

When I had the top off I got in there with a dewalt and some polishing compound and then wax. I took the rigger bases off too. I even used some wet 1500 grit in some places first Thats not happening this time...It'll get cleaner wax on a Ryobi 18V waxer and by hand in the nooks...
