I too have done it my 265 worked well similar hull design,. I would epoxy a piece of starboard material to transom and then screw transducer to that. Avoid adding holes in transom bellow water line. My 2 cents

Your hatch has been modified from Oem, it appears they made dams at the rear and gaskets to seal. Also the 4 locking fasteners were added to make it quick disconnect. Can’t tell if your sea deck is covering the heads of the fasteners. The original deck would have been screwed down and sealed...

I have an 2007 330 had the same plastic fittings, I decided to replace with bronze ones from Jamestown distributor, not very expensive, worth the piece of mind.

I replaced my pompanette platinum with this pompanette with folding bolsters and folding arms. I also have 330 express, I did only for easier access into the v berth.

Take a look at whisper power.com I was at the Newport boat show and saw these Picollo gensets small, quiet and reasonably priced. When it’s time I would definitely consider these.

If you decide to replace the cap I have 2 made and ready to go in polished stainless for sale. I just finished mine, the company that made them had a minimum order so I bought 3 figured someone would want them.

On a different note I was thinking of repower on my 33 with zuke dual prop, how do you feel the boat and transom handled the extra weight of these engines? Thanks in advance
