    2000 Tournament 192

Hi Paul - while you have the motor off you may want to look at and potentially address the infamous 'bang plate" or transom seam on your boat. Lots of threads on this site on how folks have addressed it. I would also look at all thru hulls, hoses, fuel lines and the pry off hatches - replace...

    Portable bait well advice please

I have the same set up as OnoEric, running it multiple years, 8-10 hours at a time. I have a T off the raw water, so I can use the washdown when needed. My pump is in pic. What bait are using?

    Rain Water entering bilge

Check all your deck plates, I replaced mine with spin offs - lots of folk seem to be doing the same here. Also, I was getting water thru the rear thru hull inside the boat, I needed to rebed the fitting.

    208 adventure

Congrats!! A great boat and you will be happy! When you get a chance, Can you post your performance #'s with hardtop and a few guys on board. I'm interested in seeing the numbers, top speed and mpg, I am considering a radar arch or top of some type but am on the fence.. Thanks!

    208 adventure

Agree with the performance comments on the F150 w/o a hardtop. My boat planes at 20 and tops out at 35. I consistently get 3 mpg with 2 adults, 80 lbs ice and 38 gallon bait tank.

    Self bailing cockpit scuppers

JK - you may want to consider adding a second bilge pump a little higher. I added another one in mine for a piece of mind, also another separate outflow. I had a thread on here somewhere about it if you want to read up on it .

    Transom transducer on Tournament 197

84- you will need more than a flat piece of starboard, the stern save, comes with 4 holes in the back and center tack to mount to the transom. Not positive, but the center tak was set with 3m tak and the were filled with their epoxy and attached. Try looking up the install videos on youtube...

    Transom transducer on Tournament 197

Pictures of my location, not the best angle, but hopefully helpful. The original transducer was mounted further outboard on my boat, I moved it inboard and it works great. Not sure how a sterndrive would impact location.

    208 adventure

Great boat! I have 1999 Adventure. Low hour motor!! Look inside the rear bilge area and see how clean the owner kept it, the transom cap should be looked at carefully - lots of threads on this board on what to look for on the cap., water finds its way into the transom. Take it out for a...
