    Well, was fun planning...

Be careful - had my trailer ubolt snap as I backed into my driveway. Definitely check those bolts regularly! I replaced the all ubolts and springs. Not the axles. Close call for sure!

    Filling holes..........

For reference here is a picture of marine tex filling old holes. I didn't try to make it pretty - below the water line. I may come back at some time and sand it down and cover it with gel coat - when I fill the other nicks and scratches on the boat.

    GW Adventure 208 Maintenance

Hi Summer, I have not gone thru all the gauges yet, I just ran the motor off a hose in the driveway and saw the RPM go. The unit should display any info that the motor relays, so temp, pressure, amps and fuel rate. I have not put it on the water to run thru all the gauges yet.

    HELP...Transom Swell - Express 360

Not sure where you live, if that transom freezes and expands in the winter it could start to crack the gel coat. I would factor in the cost of a new transom or walk.

    GW Adventure 208 Maintenance

Hi Summer, I have a 2018 F150 Yamaha. I bought the Lowrance Engine interface cable on Amazon for about $90. Yamaha has a proprietary nmea cable they sell for much more. I have 2 friends that have used the lowrance cable without issue for a 70hp and 115hp Yamaha. If look under the engine...

Fuel Tank, Deck Plate & Moisture

Spark - great tip! I just replaced my sender a year ago. How often do you see this occurring on the same boat? Have you noticed any other issues with tanks?

Anyone add a 2nd Bilge pump in the stern of their boat?

Ok, thanks again all. I went with 4200 on the l pump basket and bracket for the float, mounted about 9 inches higher than the floor. Separate outflow to a new thru hull.

    Trailering 22 Tournament

I tow an Adventure 208 on a double axle trailer with a 2006 4Runner, V6 with 4wd. No issues so far on the ramp - but I definitely know the boat is behind. I take it easy when towing. Tow capacity on my 4runner is 5000 lbs.

    Filling holes..........

I recently did this on my boat. Follow Andyb's advice on cleaning out the old holes. I used MarineTex on my holes since it was is white, but have also used epoxy in the past.

Fuel Tank, Deck Plate & Moisture

Hi, I have a 1999 Adventure 208 and replaced all my pry up hatches with spin offs. You don't have to replace the complete hatch though - you can just replace the gasket in the ones you have and put some Vaseline or super lube on them. I also have the polyethylene gas tank in my boat, just...
