I first bought the Chinese equivalent off eBay and regretted it as they are cheap and very loud and clunky when they hit that decent. Buy the Southco version as they are smooth and not at all loud, I learned a good lesson and ended up buying the Southco ones afterwards

I bought a Suzuki DF250 with a 30 inch leg and fabricated a plate to bolt to the pod on my 1999 228 Seafarer. I like that the cowling is 5 inches higher than the 25 inch leg and gets the tilt/trim rams that much higher. No issue with trimming all the way up, it doesn’t hit the transom.

I finally landed and installed the 8/8 120 Brooker Beige, a little darker than the original colour but may fade over time a bit, I don’t think Pro Dec sells the Almond colour any more

My 1999 Seafarer has the macerator pump and shoots everything out the side, no holding tank, the way I look at it is that fish pee in the water so my wife and kids can use the toilet. I use the pee grid aka swim grid, works awesome.
