    Ok to use in A 2001 Yamaha OX66 225

It's TCW-3 certified so you can use it. Not sure it's worth the extra expense though. Find yourself some Pennzoil XLF at $18/gal and roll with it. Here is the spec info: https://www.westmarine.com/buy/quicksilver--performance-dfi-oil-1-gallon--6912927

    Best trailer to buy.

From what I can tell, not much has changed other than their website. Design is exactly the same. Same crew (other than Jeff and Doug) putting them together. I did price one though...and where they used to be competitive with Loadmaster, Ace, etc...this one was waaaaay more. I know things...

    Recommended VHF Antenna Length?

Also note that most 8' antennas have now been shortened to 93". If you see "RL" in the model number on the Shakespeare antenna line, you will know that's why. The reason? UPS started charging oversize package fees. The slightly shorter ones can go through their systems without having to be...

    1999 Yamaha ox66 225 - Fuel injectors?

Jah - glad it's fixed. Seasick - the 225 OX is on the 3.1 / 76 degree block. It doesn't fire all 6 cylinders until 1700 rpm. They are notorious for a lumpy idle. I've owned 3 of them and have yet to have one that didn't shake at idle/low speed.

New Fisherman 222 Owner with a trailer/hull position question

Generally speaking, tongue weight should be 7-9% of the total. If you are at 150 lbs, you are way light. As others have said, this isn't a hard fix.....loosen the winch stand and slide it forward. Then, back down the ramp and winch it up snug.

    Best trailer to buy.

Is this the boat in Savannah? If it is, I know where you can get a trailer for it quickly and not too far away. Otherwise, be prepared to wait awhile to get one built. You didn't tell us where you are, and it makes a difference. Do you want bunks or rollers?

You missed a spot.:D Seriously, looks good. Chemical Guys has opened 3 retail stores here in Atlanta with all their products and some other stuff under one roof. Neat place to mess around in.

    Fusion Stereo - No Sound

Make sure the amp is powering up. If it's not, you won't get any sound.

    GW Freedom 205

Make sure you sea trial a 205. If you are tall and like to run the boat standing up, the throttle may be too low. I owned a 205 and loved it, except for that one issue.

Soapy water. You can move them around, line them up, and then when you get them where you want them, lightly squeegee them. Let them dry for 30 minutes and then peel the transfer tape off. I’m anal like that. Have done all my letters, registration stickers, etc… like that for years.

The cushions exist. The curtains for the hardtop are missing. No bolsters on this boat.

If you have the traditional navy/yellow GW lettering, you can order a pretty close facsimile using "navy" and "gold outline" from Boat US graphics shop. www.boatus.com/graphics If you have the silver, follow KY Grady's suggestion above.

    192 Tournament Windshield Alignment

Welcome aboard. That top bracket where the support arm meets the windshield is adjustable. Loosen it and GENTLY adjust the windshield. When it's flush, make sure the support bracket is in a "notch", then tighten everything up.

    Owens

An update-I spoke to them yesterday. Sounds like much of it was driven by a desire to get out of St Pete and get back to a simple life. Jeff is working his land in Live Oak; Doug is in Crystal River; Kim is traveling. Everyone who worked there still works there. The product remains the...
