    A question about trailers

Well, seems Pacific Trailer is causing some aggravation. After only 4 launches my brand new Pacific Trailer carpeting is burning in multiple places. Of course I will take the hit because recently my first mate didn't have the trailer back deep enough, so I drove it on more than it could handle...

    Yeti-Set-Go!

Out today with a buddy, first thing he did was rotate cooler sideways so his lazy butt didn't have to move to open the cooler from the jump seat. As Ky suggested, it did create a better flow on the deck. Will keep it this way for a bit .

Hull Taking on Water - 232 Gulfstream 2005

Your boat is new to me, BUT as glacierbaze said, that bilge should be dry-ish. As Ky said, check all thru-hull and hoses for leaks. Also, I would pull all deck inspection plates to make sure they are not causing leaks. Not too familiar with your hull, but open up every possible water...

    228 Baitwell Aerator Addition

"Install a non-return inline valve they say" "You'll love working in the bilge they say" Valve installed, new mini-panel panel switches for the live well and wash down from New Wire Marine in route, scheduled to arrive on Monday. Hoping to put this puppy to rest by mid next week. Will be out...

228 - making it water tight?

Another 228 in the Bay Area! Lots of support there for ya!! Impressive list of electronics, and am envious of having a boat without major issues

    Yeti-Set-Go!

Was out solo today, will take some time getting used to remembering there is a cooler in the middle of the deck. Will be interesting to see what my feeling is in a couple months. Some good pluses and minuses

    228 Baitwell Aerator Addition

Tested out the motor for the live well and wash down today after getting wiring ready when my new switch panel shows up. Both worked, glad I tested on water, the live well's hose clamps needed tightening for both fill and drain. Dry bilge :)

228 - making it water tight?

Luckydude, That would upset just about anyone who dished out that amount of $$$. Everyone handles things differently, and this is a case of managing expectations of what you want done to make yourself happy. I am uncomfortable being too aggressive unless absolutely necessary, and somehow I...

    228 Baitwell Aerator Addition

Hoon, I'm an impatient worker!! The good news today was boat is water tight. Tested this morning before heading out fishing and the new additions were dry as a bone~meaning sea cock and drain thru hull. My next to last step is getting the wiring ready for the switches so when they arrive I...

    Yeti-Set-Go!

Trade offs.... Then you buy a bigger boat to store all that crap with bigger engines and things look good till you have to pony up for the first tank of gas. I hate stuff lying everywhere, for sure harder to manage with guests who have a different agenda ;)

    Yeti-Set-Go!

Yes! Posted pics in the fishing reports. Looks like there is less room around the cooler than there really is. Angle of the camera I think. Anway, was stoked the two new holes I put in the hull for the new livewell and washdown didn't leak water. Checked those before we left the dock. The wind...
