    MFD on 192 Tournament

Remove the door and have a piece of acrylic or starboard cut to the same size. Mount the MFD in the opening. A 7" unit should fit just fine.

    Cockpit cover???

It’s actually called a cockpit cover. A custom one will have Velcro flaps that take it around the Bimini frame.

    2006 228 BULK HEAD COVER

Maybe we ARE talking about 2 different things....you guys may be referring to the L shaped panel that hides the rigging on the Walkarounds....I've seen those crumble too. The one I was thinking about and the one that GW said tough luck on was the bulkhead that separates the cabin from the cockpit.

    2006 228 BULK HEAD COVER

I found a pic....not great....but you can see the rot at the bottom of the panel where it meets the deck. GW told him that it was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do. Doc - I'm with you....this is one place that they could have done better and not used unsealed wood.

    2006 228 BULK HEAD COVER

I saw this on a 208 that a buddy of mine had. He wound up having to order it direct from GW; they had to make one or pull one off the assembly line, and it was absurdly expensive. Unless you are manufacturing one, you may not have a choice.

Woohoo! Finally found the one I wanted!

Good looking boat....I had an '05 with an F225. Closest thing to a 50 MPH GW that I've owned. You can add a Fusion BT module to that stereo. That Kenwood is a pretty decent unit. I'd install the GO7 and go with it. Use the old transducer as a fish to pull the transducer (Totalscan) for the...

    GW 232 trailer info needed.

OP was looking for trailer info on a Gulfstream. I would think a Marlin would likely need a tri-axle.

Help with deciding on a new Garmin unit and transducer

Does Garmin have a flat rate repair/replace? If you are happy with the unit, what about sending it back and getting it fixed?

    GW 232 trailer info needed.

An 8600 lb tandem is the perfect size. What you are getting at that level is 2 5200 lb axles (10400) and the trailer itself will weigh around 1800 lbs or so.

Pompanette helm seat arm rests covers

Agree, and this problem isn't limited to Pompanette either. The armrests on my Wise seats are worn out too. Same issue.

Seafarer 226 with Yamaha 200 HPDI

I’ve had far better luck with the Mirage Plus props over the Yamaha SWS props. I’d see if you can find one. Just remember you will also need the hub kit....no big deal. They run about $40 or so.

    Do you use Ethanol free?

I used to not worry about it and just put in additives, but around here it's become very easy to find and seems to be about the same price as premium. With that in mind, I switched some years ago and now run E-0 exclusively. I also still run the additives (Ring Free and PRI-G). I paid...

Need thoughts. Headed in the right / good direction?

As long as the GPS antenna is N2K compatible, you can connect it to the backbone and it will transmit information to any other N2K compatible device.

    Today's progress,,,,,

Me too....getting the starboard one out shouldn't be a big deal....getting the port one out will likely entail pulling the oil tank.

Seafarer 226 with Yamaha 200 HPDI

I didn't intrepret his 5100 to be WOT, but might be the case. Perhaps the OP can clarify that. Also, if he has a hardtop (?) and has the curtains up, you can create a mountain of wind resistance.....

Seafarer 226 with Yamaha 200 HPDI

Where are you getting your speed readings from? The Yamaha speedo? If the pitot hole on the front of the gearcase has any crud in it, you won't get a true reading. On the other hand, if you are getting your readings from a GPS, then something isn't right.

Just joined the club! 2004 180 Sportsman, Some Advice Please!

Just FYI - there are 2 Loadmasters out there. The aluminum ones are built in Tampa. I've owned several...they make a nice trailer and stand behind it. The galvanized Loadmaster comes out of OH. I have no experience with them.

Where did you find those scupper drains? I need to do mine. Any issues getting the old ones out?
