Did you end up ordering from Boatsteer? They are an authorized SeaStar service center....you can get one with the exact footprint, and they are substantially cheaper. I think I'm headed in the same direction......

That's definitely not a 51....looks like an old school dual beam to me. Does your invoice and/or work order specify a 51?

Your hardtop won't get ripped off unless you hit something. Proper installation will include aluminum backing plates behind the fiberglass. Washers and locking nuts spread the load. If your installer isn't using backing plates, find someone else.

If it were me, I'd have the holes / scratches where the gelcoat is down to the glass fixed. Anywhere else - I'd remove the hardware, clean it up, reinstall the screw with a finishing washer and go boating. As much as we all want our boats to look like KY Grady's 228, patching extra screws...

Back in '95, the factory seats came from Wise, not Pompanette. If yours are Pompanette they were swapped out after the fact. Good luck finding parts...I've been hunting for bushings and handles...not much luck.
