Pull the motor and replace the aluminum trim lining the engine cutout. Make sure it is very well caulked....or glass over the joint. Get some trim tabs if she doesn't already have them. Good luck with the boat. I had an '85 204 Fisherman and loved it.

Something is wrong. I had the same motor on my '85 20' Fisherman and could get over 100 miles on 40 gallons. Check your setup, prop, engine tune, etc.

Anything that stays pliable would probably work better than the bedliner...especially if you are thinking of using it more than once. Gelcoat is available in two forms: paste and liquid. For spray application, buy the liquid and thin it accordingly.
