Update on engines....back to the drawing board lol

Hey Russ, What I believe Dennis was asking you is if you tried to do a static flush i.e. hooking a garden hose up to your flush connector on the side of engine and run water through it without starting up the engine to see if the pee stream works that way? That pee stream hose is notorious for...

    Eventful Day

Now if I only had a dollar for every song I sung, every time I've had to play while people sat there drunk.... In 1987 (ironically same year as my hull) I played acoustic guitar and sang folk rock every Sunday afternoon at the Eagle Cafe in Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. My...

    A Hull Lot Better

I sanded with a Makita orbital random sander. No way in hell I would hand sand that hull Drifter! I thought I would be alot sorer after the last day of contorted buffing and waxing, but miraculously I held up ok. Give us some pics when you finish

    New wheels and tires

So the second set of guides wrxhoon asked you about is firm enough to keep the boat from sliding sideways on windy days during retrieval? I think my trailer is trickier because I have rollers, where as bunks would keep her in place better. I'm still having issues with power loading my 228 back...

    Marine Speaker Covers

After mounting new 7.7" JL Audio speakers in an area where rain, fish blood, and beer being opened might occasionally occur, I found these speaker covers to protect from the elements. Wanted to post this for those who also have speakers in compromised locations. Gonna test these puppies out...

    Plastic Steps Sealant?

Installing new trailer steps that only were available in white. While they look clean today, in a very short period they will look like crap I imagine. Any suggestions on some kind of surface preparation/protectant that will make them at least cleanable down the road?
