So the second set of guides wrxhoon asked you about is firm enough to keep the boat from sliding sideways on windy days during retrieval? I think my trailer is trickier because I have rollers, where as bunks would keep her in place better. I'm still having issues with power loading my 228 back...

After mounting new 7.7" JL Audio speakers in an area where rain, fish blood, and beer being opened might occasionally occur, I found these speaker covers to protect from the elements. Wanted to post this for those who also have speakers in compromised locations. Gonna test these puppies out...

Installing new trailer steps that only were available in white. While they look clean today, in a very short period they will look like crap I imagine. Any suggestions on some kind of surface preparation/protectant that will make them at least cleanable down the road?
