So I decided to take off all the decals. I used a heat gun, razor blade and goo gone. Wasn't that bad, I went over each spot several Times. Now I'm going to replace the stickers with a different color. I'musing Boat US for the Stripes and Boat Name. Still need to find the Grady White decal...

What's the best way to seal up the transom cap that is deteriorating? What does everyone use?

Yes I see that, it's interesting to see some of them start in the decal. Maybe we are looking at 2 different causes.

Just read all the posts then looked at the photos again. It starts in the decal then works it's way down the side. If it was a gel coat crack it wouldn't have started in the decal. Definitely looks like an external scratch.
