I just reinstalled my live well on my 99 228 today. It looks just like yours. I didn't think it would come out but just wiggled it back and forth and it came out.

Have you thought about plumbing the fuel line directly into the main fuel system? That's how I'm rigging mine, I went through the can on my last boat and I didn't and I didn't like it.

Finally tested out the new impeller. I ran up to lake Sonoma yesterday. I didn't unload the boat I just backed in and ran the motor for 35 minutes, I ran it at different RPM'S in gear in reverse and in nuetral no alarms and the motor sounded great.

Well I finally got to test the transducer for leaks yesterday. I took it to a lake and left it on the trailer at the ramp for 35 minutes. I was running my motor to test the new impeller the entire time. No leaks from the transducer.

I hadn't thought about that. Looks like I will be getting a plug, good idea.
