    Helm replacement

Ok so that makes sense. If it didn't fail, oil it probably ok. I had a teleflex helm fail and the manufacturer said no way use the old oil. You should be ok though.

    Helm replacement

I would drain the oil since the boat has many years. Oil has probably been contaminated and you are better off refilling with fresh oil. If it is contaminated, you will screw up your new helm pump. Why did the helm pump fail? You can have them rebuilt for 200 or so.

offshore running with air condition on ???

I was told not to run the generator while heading offshore or over a certain speed and that it could cause it to fail sooner. Anyone else hear this? We usually wait till we get to the trolling grounds before kicking on the generator and air condition.

    Canvas Shop?

Not sure how old your Grady is, but there is a shop in NC that does all of Grady's enclosures. They keep the templates and if you call them and send them the old ones, they can replace at a reasonable price. I will see if I can get the name for you.

Sailfish 272 fuel fill - which one for main tank?

Not to pry, but what you picking this boat up for? I would also make sure lots of attention is paid to the stern to make sure no water got in. Also it would be helpful to know if the previous owner (whomever owned the boat the last 5 years) used ethanol or non-ethanol. May need to replace...

Hard top rod holders on canyon 366?

I would like to add some on mine too. I have a 330 express. The side ones are not enough and I would love a place to get rods out of way while underway.

    Underwater Lights 330 Express

While my boat is high and dry, I'm looking to add some underwater lights. I want to make sure I do it right and that the lights will last a long time. Any suggestions? Should I add two on stern and two under the hull? Drilling through the hull makes me a bit nervous so I plan to let the...

I currently own 3 boats - one of which is for sale in OCMD. Grady 330 express (purchased this summer), 2000 272 Sailfish (brokered at Taylor Marine) and 23 foot hurricane deck boat. Love my Grady's for fishing and some general cruising but a lot of the bay area is shallow so I tend not to...

    Rocket Launchers 330

Has anyone added rocket launchers to the hardtop for a Grady 330 express? We had them on our 27 and it was a great place to put the rods to get them out of the way. We have the ones on the side but we could use more. My brother and I are 6'3 and would be able to reach them. We do have a...
