Sea Shift -thanks for the kudos. One tip on the Gemlux- they are just a bit too long and when the transom gate is folded, they will bottom out on the stern side panel and gouge it. I suggest grinding off the threaded drain coupling at the bottom. It will provide about 1/2" of clearance...

Almost forgot- I also changed to SS fuel filter heads and mounted them to enable the use of Racor filter/clear bowl or the large Yamaha filters. Also installed a SS vacuum gauge on each filter to let me know if it's getting plugged. I'll get some pictures of these next time I'm at the boat...

I added two Gemlux rod holders to the transom gate, one on each side of the pliers/knife holder. The Gemlux units are nice because there are no screws- they attach like a thru-hull. The SS finish is great as well. I also removed the electronics box plexi and installed a Raymarine C120W units...

I have to say I have the opposite experience with Raymarine. I had a C70/DSM on my last boat and a C120W/DSM/digital radar set up on my new to me 265 Express. I found them to be responsive, helpful, and willing to troubleshoot issues over the phone/by email. I never had to use their service...

I found the price on-line for this system is about $3200. Parts only, no labor.

Just the year and boat model. He indicated that the replacement skins are the same for essentially all the seats.

I contacted Pompanette, the maker of the chair. They will provide the armrest covers for $30 a pair plus shipping (it cost me $11 to Mass.) They said these won't have the discoloration problem and are simple to apply. I think it's worth a try for $41. Contact is Gladdy- (954) 525-6367
