    1991 Offshore

I ended up buying new adjustable pedestal mounts and slides. I wanted adjustability up and down and back and forth. I am very happy with my decision.

Used Grady White Shopping- 24 ' range Recommendations and Insight

I have a 1982 Offshore....while I love the boat and fish the hell out of it, I would say it is not really configured for a "floating patio". The beam is a bit narrow at 8ft and the seating is arranged for maximum fishing room....not for entertaining at the dock. Just my .02. Welcome to the...

1989 Tournament 19 Gas tank part number

I saw those models Seasick.....the rectangular shape did not fit the forward space in my Offshore. They do make good stuff though.

1989 Tournament 19 Gas tank part number

I had to first submit a sketch to my fabricator for pricing and even after that he wanted the old tank to use as a template. These tanks are not off the shelf in my experience. I tried a Moeller tank for my AUX in my Offshore......replacing a 53 gal aluminum tank with a 40 gal poly tank......it...

New (to me) Grady 268. What's the hatch for?

Guys.....I thought this site was established for Grady Owners to help other Grady owners. Here we have a new owner who needs help and you guys are discouraging him from coming back. Not cool. When I think of some of the stupid, even dangerous.... stuff I did when I was a new owner, it makes me...

New (to me) Grady 268. What's the hatch for?

You will find it Cadeco.....mins has 2 locks.....one is a knob you turn and then there is rod with a wing nut that allows you to secure it in different positions......for access or just a little for ventilation.

New (to me) Grady 268. What's the hatch for?

On my 24 Offshore that hatch allows access and egress from the cabin. If it is the same hatch you must open it from inside the cabin. Good luck with your new Grady!

    Fuel Leak

I have had both problems.....my main fuel fill line dried out and split , causing fuel to get in the bilge while fueling and my tank rotted out after 20 years.

    rebuilt powerhead

For the cost of a new powerhead on a 32 year old outboard you could probably find a much newer used one.

No super spreader COVID events for me thank you...the latest variant to hit NY was traced back to a convention last month at....you guessed it...The Javits Center.

    Trailering with vinyl up?

A new enclosure for my Offshore is probably 3K minimum now....I wouldn't risk it.

    Fog outboard yes/no

I would never store an outboard without fogging the cylinders....one way or another.
