Possibility of making an "open forum" for non - Grady White topics of conversation?

Who would determine who is one of "us"? New owners join here all the time, I can't remember the process, are they vetted, or do they just create an account? Either way, as an anti-social prick to begin with, I'm still a no.

Possibility of making an "open forum" for non - Grady White topics of conversation?

Try going to the 3 bar menu, in the top left corner, click "New Posts". Above the first post you may have a box that says, "Show Only: unread". If not, go to the right side, and click "Filter", click 'unread', and click the blue 'Filter', at the bottom of the drop down to apply. That gives you...

Possibility of making an "open forum" for non - Grady White topics of conversation?

My bookmark for opening this site is, "New Posts", which are new posts from every sub forum, since the last time I opened it. I never look, and I seldom have any idea, or care, which forum the thread came from, because they all have something in common. I don't want to see political, religious...

Any advice to repair interior liner crack? (with photo)

Seems to be a pretty common problem with those liners. I wonder if there is a screw at the bottom of that crack, behind the shelf.

Help : Wheelchair Access Door for 1989 Seafarer

Speaking as someone with several special needs individuals in my family, I think I said something similar in the other thread, but I'll say it again, Do it right, or don't do it at all. Nobody wants to see their special needs child hoisted from a dock to a boat, by a stranger with any kind of...

    Little Electric Maintenance - Breakers

I always soldered my cable lugs. Put it in a vise, with the open end up, put pieces of solder wire in, and melt with a torch. Quickly heat the end of the cable, and stick it in, using a splatter shield.

Did it rip out of the hinge, break the actuator, or pull the screws out of the transom? If the latter, I would be checking the transom.

Newport Beach Helm Chair For Sale

I just saw this ladderback helm chair on the Parker forum. Looks identical to the helm chairs on my 2000 Seafarer, except for the Parker logo. And a good price! https://www.classicparker.com/threads/ladder-back-helm-chair-w-pedestal-step.21708/...

I wasn't trying to answer your question, putting more info out there, that might be different from what the rep told him. Plenty more on Youtube.

Not a grady question but you guys know a bunch so

Yes, he said that, and I agree with him, but he is running his boat in that sweet spot that I talked about above, where the bow is slightly up, and the prop thrust is parallel. I stand by my statement, that he never recommended running a boat with the engine trimmed all the way in. He said...

Not a grady question but you guys know a bunch so

Lucky, I know that we are beating a dead horse, talking about engine trim, but that is just not accurate. Your boat runs best with the prop thrust parallel to the overall surface of the water, disregarding waves and chop. With the engine matched to the boat, you can run with the prop parallel...

10 X 12 M120 Sport tabs, unless the MIL is over 300 lbs, then you might want to go up a size ;). Something like this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/334298098790?hash=item4dd5b82c66:g:nuQAAOSwD1NhbhG8
