    Help..192 Freedom vs. 205 tournament

I had the 192 ..it's a big 19 footer. The 205 next to it is bigger though only by 9 inches or so. You can't go wrong with either honestly. Like Parthery said if you need the stand up head there is your answer. It's not a 2 footitis question. If you were asking between a 192 and a 225, well...

Deck Scupper drains on 228 Seafarer

Doc, do you think the check valve ball would get clogged with deck debris being washed down? My scuppers will let water on the deck with some heavy people on the stern. I like the ones I got from Grady. They look sharp.

Deck Scupper drains on 228 Seafarer

I did the same thing as KY 4 weeks ago. I called my Grady dealer and ordered it through them. Grady dropped shipped them to me . It was easy peasy. Honestly the hard part was getting the old scupper hoses cut and out especially off of the through hull fitting for the scupper drain itself.

    Another Transom Question

What year is the boat? Those look like flexing going on , I could be wrong. Others here may know or have experience on this issue. If you don't get a good vibe here, it might be worth contacting a reputable surveyor.

My boat is at that age

When stuff needs to be replaced. I have had it new since 2009 and it seems every time I turn around something else needs replacing. I had a good run and now the maintenance life is kicking in. I am getting ready to go to Covid Largo, I mean Key Largo in a few weeks. Just replaced a number of...

Grady White 247 Advance Tow Weight?

I wouldn't think so. My advice make sure your trailer is equipped with good brakes. Towing is easy , stopping is harder. You will also want to run the highest load range tires for your wheel size as possible and then inflate them to max pressure. I tow my 228 upwards of 1,000 miles in a...

    Listing to Starboard

you know I thought the same thing after I posted about the batteries. What if both motors rotate the same direction? Is that enough torque to cause the list? It seems it would make steering interesting.

    Nav lights- troubleshooting.

The switch is for anchor or nav. At anchor the red and green marker lights are off. The masthead light is always on either for navigation or anchor. I had intermittent bulbs all the time. It's common. I just got fed up with it and replaced it all with LED.

My 22 is in a boat shed 25x30. She shares a spot with the camper. Good job on the fuel lines and water separators.

    Decision time

Keep the boat. You are moving to Florida not Kansas . St. Augustine is beautiful. You will want venture offshore, learn how to catch some dolphin ,aka mahi, and take a cruise and sand bar it at Mantanzas. You won't regret bringing the boat but you will regret not having it.

    Listing to Starboard

Hey Guys, where are your batteries in this boat? My 228 has two and they are in the stern in the port storage area. Thus my boat has a list to the left . Without knowing where your batteries are stored I would say the issue is with the batteries.. that's a lot dead weight confined to a small...

    Crazy mistake on my part

Last year I was trailering my yacht to Florida to go fishing. Upon returning I stop at the Georgia welcome center on 95 and take the temperature of each hub using my IR thermometer. I was also checking for signs of COVID. I noticed the right rear trailer wheel running about 15 degrees F...

2009 Yamaha F250 bogging down, stalled out underway

I wonder if you have a loose ground? Seems like a lot of electrical work and jostling stuff around. When you have a big voltage drop using the trim tilt the first place I look is to make sure all positive and negative wires are secure and tight. Then I look at the batteries. Your motor issue...
