I'm ok with the ones GW shipped with the boat as long as they are still available. I'll check.

    Removing and Reinstalling floor panels

3M 5200/4200 is too much of an adhesive. I'm a big fan of 3M 4000 UV stable but it's still too strong. I use premium GE white silicone from Home Depot for hatch caulking. Does the job, easier to remove and matches "Faded Grady" gelcoat color on older boats.

    Replacing Compartment Doors.

Starting a new project. Replace the facia and compartment doors under the helm and companion seats. Replace the tackle box on the back of the companion seat. Offshore Eddy in Cape May will fabricate them out of Seafoam Starboard. I'll update thread. Eddy saves these templates so if anyone is...

Anyone out there using the Garmin LiveScope Scanning Sonar? I talked to an old buddy today who actively bass fishes in Virginia area. He said most of the competitive bass fisherman, including himself, are using this sonar. They are using it to find fish away from structure they usually fish and...

    anyone install a thu-hull for washdown in a 208

My pickups are side-by-side in aft compartment. Note that I drilled three 3/8" holes in the back of both of them. Lots of problems with Rule 405FC 1100 GPH bait pumps. 3-year warranty plus West will extend it or replace it. Too much pressure on cheap pump seal intruding motor. Plus broken...

Battery Drain whilst isolators are off

As Dennis said - use a digital multimeter to check amperage draw. Stay by taking the negative off the battery and insert multimeter there. You can do this with positive terminal too but there is usually less stuff connected to negative. Then start turning battery switches off, checking devices...

    Replacing fuel lines

The fule lines are somewhat locked in place with heavy clear silicone caulk. It is not that difficult to dig it out. When you do you can replace it when you put tanks and hoses back in. The hoses do not require a heat gun or dish detergent. Maybe a little light coating of a clear silicone lube.

    Installation of bow thruster

You need to start with GW and investigate how bow thrusters were installed at the factory in your model. Newer GW's have provisions for thruster built into the hull at the factory. If you look at this GW 2022 model hull you can see the thruster option molded into the hull (zoom in). I...

    Raw water winterization

The baitwell pumps are typically Rule centrifugal pumps. Pop out and blow out the line. No antifreeze needed. The wash down and freshwater pumps are diaphragm pumps and will hold water and freeze. You have to get antifreeze into the housing. The freshwater can be done draining tank and water...
