2005 330 Express Side window Vent handle replacement

Same handle only 1997 268 Islander. Mine are fine. Haven't tried to replace one. Call Grady White customer service. Maybe you can get a manufacturer name.

    manual to electric

It is highly unlikely you have a Jabsco pump. Probably a Groco in-tank. Investigate what you really have, put some photos up and members will guide you. There are numerous post on GG on this subject. Search "Groco". And by the way it's 3 miles not 2 1/2.

Marlin 300 side window screen/gasket replacement

Different model boat but similar problem. Windows are discontinued. Best answer is acrylic (for clarity) or polycarbonate for a little longer life. Make them fixed (not openable). They are opened so infrequently. Need air: Open the hatch.

2004 33 Grady White Express Microwave

They don’t last forever! I took mine out and converted to a tackle locker. Probably have to rework mounting bezel. Nothing is easy!

Replacement can be done but you are better off replacing frames, etc. Not expensive. Shop around.

Suggestion: Put a photo up. I have no idea what you are talking about. Photos would help others help you!

Crappy situation part 2. You won't believe this!

No. I have a factory installed deck fitting/hose connected to the bottom of the holding tank. I use this to pumpout at the marina. I also have a hose coming out of the holding tank macerator plate on the top of the holding tank . That connects to my overboard discharge hose. The boats with...

    Battery Recommendation and DYI installation

It says "After the battery is fully charged, the charger will continue monitoring the battery, and provide ongoing maintenance and optimization". They monitor battery voltage and if it fall below a certain point they go into charging mode. I leave my chargers connected and "on" all the time. I...

    Battery Recommendation and DYI installation

I use the NOCO single-bank for bow thruster, windlass and stereo battery - Duracell 34M AGM. ProMariner ProSport 20 HD 3-bank for 2 Duracell 34M AGM's for starting batteries and a Duracell 27M AGM for house. Chargers are on all year. Batteries from Sam's Club - great price. I figure 5-year...

Crappy situation part 2. You won't believe this!

I don't have a y-valve on my islander. The tank has a pumpout hose to the deck and a hole in the plate for the Groco pump to overboard discharge. It's a difficult place to work on. You can't get two hands into it and you are working over the bowl. Be careful not exceed your access or physical...

    265 fuel tank replacement

Empty tanks are not that heavy. I put a racket strap on my 134 gallon front tank with a 2x4 under it for a hand-hold. Was able to wiggle it out and stand it up. I had another person help me get the tank off the boat and the new one up.

Crappy situation part 2. You won't believe this!

There are several posts. Just search GROCO MACERATOR. Here are two. Nothing works better than a in-tank pump when it's working. Most members switched to standard Jacsco macerator installed above the tank. This pump has to "lift" contents. You have to be careful to avoid air leaks or running the...

Crappy situation part 2. You won't believe this!

There is a recent thread SkunkBoat has been working on dealing with replacing the Grocco pump. I did mine a few years ago too.

    hatch hinge with threaded bolts

GemLux has engineering drawings with the hinges they manufacture. Measure up what you have and see if there is a match. You will have to switch to a bolt thru design. They have several 180 degree hinge designs that look like they would work...

Crappy situation part 2. You won't believe this!

Worst project in boating. Unfortunately I have earned my PhD in MSD's working on my CPU (Crap Processing Unit). I'm not sure if this is OEM. The Groco phenolic plate and plumbing looks standard. The Shurflow pump doesn't - maybe it has nothing to do with pumping the head out - maybe an owner...

    Garmin 17xd GPS Antenna location

May be internal but I can't find anything on Garmin site. Did not find a GPS 17xd either. Disconnect NMEA 2000 and see if you loose it. Also check system menu's to see devices. Should show up there.

    Garmin 17xd GPS Antenna location

Garmin GPS antennas are small 3" diameter round puck that are hardtop mounted. Some/most chart plotters have built-in GPS antennas. Not sure what model the internal ones are. How is it that you know you have a 17xd antenna?

    Rinse fuel tank compartment?

GW doesn't recommend closing off the fuel compartment. Neither did my tank builder - let it drain. Otherwise the water has nowhere to go. But a leaking fuel tank will put fuel in the aft bilge. Forward bilge is closed off. Some members didn't like that but the 1/2" PVC that connects the two is...
