    Probably Dumb question

Most are 20 gallon tanks and it goes a long way even when rinsing the boat. Have never run out of water and I top it off before each trip. There are gauges available after market but probably not worth the effort

    New switch covers

Amazing the difference small upgrades can do for your boat. I did my switches last year and it changed the face of the cockpit. Another small upgrade that has a big impact is replacing the plastic cup holder with 316 stainless holders. Enjoy Flordia!

    Marlin questions

If buying the 04-05 make sure the exhaust on the Yamaha has been replaced - if not you could be in for significant repair or possibly engine(s) replacement. I have a Honda portable generator and rarely ever use it for cooling at night in NE as mentioned above. It does come in handy for a little...

    Accuracy of Yamaha gauges

I always reset the gallons used on mine after every fill up. I have found it pretty accurate - gives me a good idea of how much fuel I need when fueling so I know when to watch the nozzle to prevent overflows.

    Buying an “underpowered” gulfstream

I had a Gulfstream with an F225. I would not describe the boat as underpowered. We did full crews of 4-5 guys plus gear coolers etc fishing trips 20-30 miles offshore regularly and many 60 trips to Nantucket with no issues. Like any boat, ideally it is nice to have more power but when I owned...

Spreader light and macerator question 282 sailfish

On my 2004 Sailfish the macerator has one fuse in-line right before the macrator. The Macerator is located in the aft sleep area behind the wall panel. There is also a 25 AMP fuse under the helm station. The spreader lights is most likely a fuse or switch. I've had to replace y switch twice...

Groco pump out / tank level switch

I looked at this one too but it was out of stock at the time. a bit cheaper Smart Mini The Mini-Panel display is the smallest display panel we manufacture. This panel is used when there is only a single tank to monitor. It displays the tank levels in quarters (E, 1/4, 1/2...

Groco pump out / tank level switch

Yes, I went with this - it is a great looking gauge and fits in the same spot as the original. It only reads the tank level, it does not operate the macerator. I just moved the macerator wires over to an empty slot I had on my cockpit switches. The sensors are two foil strips that attach to the...

Pompanette helm seat arm rests covers

They should work perfect. Since you arm rest are rough you may want to just put an old ankle socks on first and then cover with the new ones.
