Yeah, I remember the day one of my kids caught me writing down urls, and retyping them into the browser. "DAD, you don't know how to copy and paste?"

330 Express Forward Bilge Pump Fuse Location

When you say, "When done.....", do you mean when done pumping the water out with the old one, or when done installing the new one. Look at your battery switch, and see if you have these little black boxes next to it. They are fuses, pink is stereo memory, brown/white and brown/red are bilge...

Quotes are getting out of hand!

Maybe that's the problem, people replying to individual posts, rather than to the conversation. Post at the bottom of any page in the thread, and your post falls right in line.

Quotes are getting out of hand!

Seems like more and more people feel the need to quote a previous post in order to reply, which I perfectly understand if the conversation has gotten off track, dis-jointed, or there has been a significant time lapse to the particular point to which you are responding. BUT, I will never...

    228 Windlass install completed.

Mine looks very similar, maybe one size smaller anchor. First time I tried loading with the anchor in the pulpit, it would not clear. Had to drop it, and lay it on top of the pulpit. Lowered the winch stand a couple of inches, and now it barely clears. It is because of the way I load. With the...

    Replacing Canvas Strataglass

That will work, as long as you place them where you are not going thru too many layers of fabric and window material, since the barrell is less than 1/4 inch, and they have to be crimped loosely to allow turning.

It will be interesting to see how it clears the trailer winch, when loading and unloading.

    LED spreader lights recommendations

People can spend their money however they want, but I have been using these for years, for everything from spreader lights to gigging. If you spend a few minutes on Amazon, you should find white, with Cree elements, spot, flood, or combo. I think I paid about $6 each time. The bolts are not ss...

‘96 272 Sailfish macerator pump location

Even if the macerator is in the tank, it is hard to believe that it is being used as a submersible pump, rather than having its own space. I just replaced my external macerator, and the motor end did not strike me as submersible, but I wasn't looking for that. Someone who has been there give us...

‘96 272 Sailfish macerator pump location

Most macerator pumps have a small rubber boot on the end of the motor, which covers the end of the shaft. There is a screw driver slot in the shaft fof the purpose of freeing a stuck shaft.

    Replacing Canvas Strataglass

The part that allows the strap to swivel is different from what is shown above, unless it is a separate part that is back-to-back with the turn lock. The turn lock above just has 2 prongs, which fold flat under the cinch plate. The inside has to have some sort of male part, which has a loosely...

    1998+ seafarer fish box drain

If you look at the second picture, you see that there is a nut molded to the bottom, which means the "outer lip" is actually a flange that tightens up under the deck, and only the inner lip shows above deck.
