    Rinse fuel tank compartment?

i've sprayed the tank tops via the pie plates with simple cleaners like zep and orangeblast. rinsed fully. couple times a year. from the start of ownership, i spray all the connections and ports on top of the tanks (and other things) with T-9 and refresh it regularly. good luck, ron

    Fuel Gauge Accuracy

i've only used the level gauge as a reference. i rely on consumption monitoring. my '02 gulfstream was fairly accurate running a little higher than actual. dip switches could have adjusted but i left the margin of error. my '09 330 was extremely accurate. slightly on high side within about...

Grady White 36' Express repowered with Yamaha 300 CV

you said props "OK". the 2 outboard props should be the same pitch and diameter. the center prop will not be the same, i do not know what the correct numbers would be (and i wouldn't ask the dealer). once that is locked down, you may want to just pull the props and have them scanned to make...

    Freedom 275 Bow Thruster

personally, i wouldn't buy a boat without one. i've been boating most all my life and you come to fully realize that boats don't drive like cars. a while back i read about them working on a system for small boats; kinda like a little puffer system. only my own opinion. like the meme...

    Seacock stuck

if they don't move easily once you work on them, time for new ones. they should be screwed in to the thru hull pickup so it should be straight forward replacement. need i say ALL work would be best done on the hard? good luck, ron

    Moving motor flusher

on a serious side, you may want to swap out the brass for bronze or a synthetic if you boat saltwater. i was going to do the external setup on the 330; it was getting to be too much bopping around back there. ron

    Moving motor flusher

not to blow up your shark tank dreams, but 1. saw that rigged on a 30+ Scout at an early 2000's boat show. everything external mounted to the transom and B. that's how they come from the factory now. o_O gonna save some monkeying around when flushing, that's all that matters. good job, ron

you've obviously never boated in the north :D that's pretty much sop for our winter layups. mine comes out in October and back in April/May (last year end of June), that's what the stabil is for. and we have 10% ethanol. i always burn down the layup gas before i put fresh fuel in. if...
