    Grady Pleated Vinyl

Well there are two different answers above, but some quick reading on old threads also references "sea quest" so maybe that's the ticket. Most of my cushions are in good shape and appear to be oem, but I have a couple outliers - I'd prefer to match them rather than redo the whole boat.

    Grady Pleated Vinyl

I realize of course that Grady is tight lipped about a lot of things, but has nobody been able to source the exact vendor? Those two above look to be from two different companies...

    Rule 1100 GPH Livewell Pump

Speaking of this 330 livewell pump - I have a newer "tab to release" style on my 330, and to be honest I'm not crazy about what looks like such a fragile design in a hard to access place. Has anyone replaced with something completely different? Or am I overreacting? High water alarm is next...

Hot Water Heater 330 Grady Express

The expansion valve on the 330 drips onto the holding tank below it. HMB your thermostat may not be working properly - like you, I discovered that leaving the 20 year old hot water heater on too long does something - in my case it triggered the expansion valve and I had a minor drip to below...

Slight list 330 caused by batteries?

My 330 also has a slight list to port, and it definitely got worse after I put in four Group 31s. In truth between various upgrades I've probably added 200+ lbs to the port side of the boat. Even my new fridge weighed 20-30 lbs more than the original. I'm not sure how well balanced the 330s...

Added Large High Flow Blower to Generator Area

What's the model of the blower? And out of curiosity, did you consider a 110v blower instead, since the primary use is while the genset is running? I imagine this will keep temps much more reasonable. Where are you pulling air from?

    Worth it or not ?

I also did a pair of 12" garmins on my older 330. I mounted on black acrylic but don't have a photo handy atm. (they fit great, about 1" on each side and 2" between them IIRC) I went with a pair of 1242 XSV Plus (touch only) units. The only regret I had about not going to the $$ more...

New Boat Order - Kicker choices

I don't think the 9.9 will do anything for you at those speeds either. Your trolling speeds are like ours (and the fish, too) you'll probably be running that 4 cyl at 1300-1400 rpm to get those numbers. (which will still sip fuel) If you're looking at this long term (which is smart) your F200...

New Boat Order - Kicker choices

I'm surprised to hear the recommendations for a kicker, my impression was that the real advantage for them these days was more on inland water use / trolling unusually slowly. Out of curiosity when you say "a lot of trolling" what does that look like? Down here in South Florida we do a lot of...

    330 Express Batteries

I was able to just barely cram in four Group 31 AGMs, (Sam's Club Duracell, which go on sale 2x a year) which is great for capacity but I think that has contributed to a bit of a list at rest.... I left them configured as two banks of two, although longer term I may reconfig as start/start/house.

2005 330 Express Air Conditioning Replacement

The unit is accessible enough once you pull that panel, but I had the same thought that without a drop in replacement it could be a challenge. There's a ton of room behind the larger portside panel where the pumps are, I wouldn't be surprised if you could make that work for a retrofit A/C if...

Sealing the two halves of a pre-2005 330 Express fish box hatch together

Interesting idea, I may steal that for myself. I typically carry a cooler and don't use that box for anything but the split lid never made much sense to me. Now if you can figure out how to cram in cup holders and a shower head next to it I'm really interested. (I actually have a whale pull...

I could use a bit! Shoot me a PM when you get it, happy to pay my fair share.

    Livewell dial vs. switch

Since no one explicitly said it, the benefit of the timer is that the pump is not running continuously and draining your battery.

    33 Express new owner questions

The gen is fresh water cooled but it is still a wet exhaust. So in theory water can be forced up the seacock into the muffler, and this could fill up and eventually work its way back through the exhaust manifold into a cylinder. No idea how real this risk is but there are a number of warnings...

    Battery chargers

I just want to clarify how this works... A 40 amp charger as you describe, will put out 10 amps @ 14v on each of the 4 leads, to charge the batteries. Four, 10 amp charging circuits. That's where they get "40 amps" from. However Your shorepower cord/breaker/inlet is 30 amps at 120v. ---...

Anyone done seadek etc on a 330 Express?

I've been putting down some of the cheap amazon faux-teak EVA foam ($70 a sheet) and so far am happy with it, at least enough to think about moving forward with a more expensive solution. I'm thinking about seadek or one of the others for the helm area or cockpit of my 2002 330. I'm...

Removing 12v Fridge. UPDATE: New Cabinet Installed w Pics

Can't speak to a 282, but on a 330 yes it was just about 6 screws. 330 had the regular ones holding the fridge in and then a small starboard trim panel underneath, but all the screws were exposed. It should be a 15 min job at worst. My original 2002 fridge was flaking off rust (a lot) on the...

    Accessing TV/VCR Power Cable

Yes, anytime you think to yourself "I wonder how to get behind this" in the 330, it's only a half dozen screws and it's out. That goes for the fridge, microwave, any of the drawer compartments, the liner panels in the aft cabin, etc. I've had just about everything out 6 times in the last few...
