As Smoky said, it went away and came back. I would be surprised if they discontinued it again.

Seafarer 226 prop size with 200hp 2 stroke

When I had a 226 with a 200 HPDI, I switched to a Mirage Plus 15.5x17. 5400 rpm and 41 mph. You have to trim it way up though.

    Help..192 Freedom vs. 205 tournament

If it’s not it’s a great deal. There is also an ‘06 225 in Wisconsin that is also likely a scam.

What battery do you all like?

The Dekas from Batteries Plus also have a $10 mail-in rebate. For $240 + tax you'd have 3 brand new batteries that you won't have to worry about. Sorry - I'm wise with my $$$ too but the existing batteries are 6 years old...this one seems like a no-brainer to me.

What battery do you all like?

Russ...Yamaha's recommended battery for the F225 is a 512 CCA / 675 MCA battery, Batteries and Bulbs sells a 650 CCA/800 MCA Group 27 Dual Purpose (made by Deka) battery for $99 apiece. It weighs 49 lbs. Go on their website and you can save another 10% when you order online. Link...

What battery do you all like?

As others have said, the auto parts stores will load test them. I don’t know whether you have 24s or 27s, but the Duracell branded batteries at Sams are made by Deka. Their stuff is high quality. You can also find them at Batteries and Bulbs, and West Marine’s batteries are Deka as well...

    Help..192 Freedom vs. 205 tournament

Do you need the walk-in head? If so, then there isn’t much discussion. I’ve owned both...the 205 needs a 200 minimum. Mine had an F225. It will struggle to pull skiers and tubers with an F150. But, it does have more freeboard. The 192 went away and then GW brought it back. It’s a great...

    OX66 Troubleshooting Question - HELP!

You are making progress....but before you condemn the pump (and your wallet), check the ground side of the pump as well. That would be the blue wire coming out of the top of the VST.

    OX66 Troubleshooting Question - HELP!

Check the red/yellow wire that comes out the top of the VST. This is power to your fuel pump and should show power when the key is on . If you have power, you can eliminate that and focus on fuel. If no power to that wire, check the main relay (starboard side of the motor - you can find it by...

    Fuel Primer pumps

They were much more common back then with big carb'ed motors. OMCs typically had them and they made them much easier to start. You don't see many these days, both due to EPA regs and EFI motors.
