    330 Express RePower

Are you wanting to keep controls due to budget? If not, do yourself a favor and go to digital/electronic controls. For twins, it's the only way to go IMO. If budget isn't an issue, you have a lot of options, as long as you aren't limited by max HP rating. If you search, a number of forum members...

Trailering a 1992 Grady White Sailfish

A 92 Sailfish and a 282 are horses of a different color - and size. I would not tow a 282 with a half ton very far. A 25' regardless of beam shouldn't be an issue.

Trailering a 1992 Grady White Sailfish

Part of what determines your capacity is what tow package your truck has - gearing, springs, cooling. If the truck was optioned without a tow package, you will be nearly maxed out. Despite that if the truck is 4x4, you can pull just about anything up a ramp in 4 low if needed. If you have the...

    What trailer should I buy?

I'm starting to sound like a broken record (round discs that played music -for the younger crowd), but stay away from any trailer with a proprietary axle and brake system like Knott. If you ever want to swap parts to a different brand, you are SOL. Wish someone had told me before my purchase.

Sailfish 282 Deck Drain Hose Cutting Access Hole

I'll eventually need to replace these too. Rather than cut a hole that has no other purpose, I wondered if I could put a hatch on the wall under the transom door. It would provide access, but also make for storage for small fenders. The tough part is finding the right size hatch in the right...

Filling marine head reservoir, 2024 Freedom 235

Isn't the toilet deodorizer highly corrosive? I've wondered if that was what ultimately trashed my holding tank bits including the float sensors.

    I pleasantly stand corrected!

Seat bushings. What size or part number?

If you are talking about the sliders, you are SOL. They haven't been made in years and no one has them. If I still had those seats, I'd opt for a completely different pedestal and track system to replace what you have. It was a weak design to begin with. When I looked into this years ago, the...

    Different grades of enclosure material?

Looks like Strataglass is sold in 30, 40, and 60 mil. I would guess the stuff I have is every bit of 60. Anyone know what thickness GW uses? Found this on THT: "For functional use and visual effect, thicker is better. Due to the manufacturing process, thicker panels are more visually clear...

    Different grades of enclosure material?

Is strataglass thin and flexible - conducive to rolling?

    Different grades of enclosure material?

I've wondered why people who leave them up all the time don't do what you did. Makes sense. I'm in the opposite end of the spectrum. I'll rarely use them, but would likely never use what I have because they are so difficult to store and install. Something light and flexible is what I'm after. I...

    Different grades of enclosure material?

After getting my hard top back on, I decided to see if the old curtains would still work. To my surprise, they still fit, but are a 6 out of 10 for wear. I honestly don't think they were ever used because the snaps don't line up with anything, but they were rolled up on the hardtop for most of...

    Spirit 175 trailer

I can't tell you what to buy, but can tell you what not to buy. Do not buy a trailer with Knott brakes or axles. They are proprietary and do not allow for the adoption of any other brake systems. I and many others have experienced locked calipers and significant noise on brand new trailers from...

sail fish splash well drain tubes.

I think there are only 2 sizes and yours will be the bigger ones. Someone in here should be able to give you a measurement. You could also email GW customer service.

    First time out this year

I too have had a battery terminal that looked good, but wasn't. Lesson learned. Since you ran WOT, you might have dislodged some goop in the fuel system. I'd try some more Italian-tune-up runs and see if it clears out. Good thing you didn't pick up more water than you did! The foot injury is no...

Who has worked this hard for a hardtop?

Very nice Don. You really have a lot invested in your foundation and now have a building that will last several lifetimes with maintenance. That wasn't in my budget at the time. I'll just have to work a little harder to preserve my posts.

    3 batteries to 2

1⁰ I have not investigated if that can be an issue. I thought I read about this being ok in another thread on a different forum. BMS cut off is a non issue on the Ionic dual purpose battery. It is a 125ah starting battery.
