It's called Griptex. I usually cut it with a little sand. It's a much better surface than the factory molded surface.

Claws! A dog jumped on my friends boat at the sandbar putting some nice claw marks. Wasn't severe damage but it was noticable. When I had mine done the installer did say dogs can damage it.

I believe that is the same as the Dekit. It's a more durable surface than the original SeaDek. You can find it on the Freeman's. Just remember to keep dogs off any of these products.

They miscut my dash due to the elevation change. It wasn't that bad removing the old one. Just left some glue residue.

You can also add a piece of fishing line before you lay the caulk in. It makes breaking the bead easier the next time you need to remove it. Tie a loop on one end and leave it in a corner that you'll remember.

I use a cheap harbor freight wool pad and compound the deck once a year. I use a spray wax as a sealant. The problem with waxing the deck is that it's hard to remove everything and that makes it slick. The spray wax does a decent job and followup with the starbright deck cleaner as maintenance...
